I have wanted to check this trend out for awhile now & when this highland cow art kit came across my screen, YES PLEASE! I eagerly waited for it to arrive. Showed up & I instantly opened it to check it out. It’s pretty easy to understand, especially for your first time getting into it. There’s the sticky photo covered with a clear sheet to protect the stickiness. It comes with the utensil to pick up the gems, the cement that goes in the utensil to pick up the gems, a tray to hold your gems & bags of colored gems that are all labeled & coordinate with the color list on the side of the photo sheet. I woke up super early the next morning while everyone else was still asleep so I could begin this without any distractions or little fingers grabbing & losing the gems LOL It was incredibly relaxing & calming sitting by myself with my earbuds in, sipping my coffee & making this photo come to life. I was having such a good time that I was almost disappointed when everyone started to wake up & I had to put it away LOL I did let my five year old check it out, & he was having so much fun that I ended up ordering him a set of his own fun, kid-themed set. He is headed to kindergarten & I figured coordinating the gems with the letters/numbers will help with letter/number recognition & hand/eye coordination; so super fun & educational at the same time! The picture has beautiful colors & is bubbly & cheerful. It seems very well made & so far, all the gems seem to be in good shape & have stayed in place. It is a pretty big picture so for me, having little kids, it is taking me some time to get it done, but I just think that means more fun & relaxing moments for myself & for only $8, it’s definitely worth it. And, there are so many options, there is something for everyone! Overall, I am hooked! I have many more on my want list & I’m excited to see this finished up. I think it is priced well & look forward to getting more!
