How to Make It
- Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
- Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
- Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
- Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
- Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
- Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.
Complete it in your own time, then frame it — a finished DOTZSO canvas is meant to be hung, not stored.
