Why This Flowers Eyeglass Case Earns Its Place in the Bag

A loose cluster of mixed blooms at different heights, buds and open heads together, with stems crossing naturally, rendered as a Flowers design in mixed warm and cool florals over a muted ground so the arrangement reads relaxed rather than formal. It reads fresh and unhurried, which is the hard part to get right. Clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing. It fits a household where practical objects are also expected to look good. Designed for kitchens and dining areas, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q71. Because the stems cross at different angles, the eye keeps moving across the canvas instead of settling on one point Put simply, clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing.

clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing. In kitchens and dining areas the piece reads clearly at a glance, which is not true of every design.

Every DOTZSO eyeglass case kit is built for people who want their glasses protected by something they made themselves. Your box contains the printed case panel, DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip applicator pen, a wax caddy and pictorial instructions.

The practical detail here is the finish. Sealing the drilled panel is what stops the surface catching on everything else in the bag.

The face is fully drilled, so the surface reflects evenly across the panel.

What’s in the Box

  • 1 × printed case panel
  • 1 × rigid case body / frame
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Lay the printed case panel flat and let it settle before starting.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one section at a time rather than across the whole panel.
  5. Continue until the panel is covered, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seal the surface and fit the panel into the case frame once the drills are fully seated.

Finish the panel in stages, then assemble the case and start carrying it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included when I order this Flowers eyeglass case kit?

Yes. The Flowers eyeglass case kit ships complete with the case body and frame shown in the product images, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q71.

Does the Flowers eyeglass case kit resist normal wear and tear?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Flowers design holds under normal use. The rigid shell is what protects the drills in a bag, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Treat it as a normal household item and it behaves like one.

Can the Flowers surface be wiped with a damp cloth?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Flowers palette, mixed warm and cool florals over a muted ground so the arrangement reads relaxed rather than formal tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Avoid dishwashers entirely for the Flowers piece.

Is the Flowers design drilled uniformly across the face?

The panel is drilled across the whole face, so the finished case has complete coverage. The Flowers artwork is drawn so that a loose cluster of mixed blooms at different heights reads clearly at any distance. Every section of the Flowers design carries drills.

Is the Flowers design suited to evening work?

Roughly one to two evenings for most people, depending on the pattern density. The Flowers design is fresh and unhurried, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. There is no deadline built into the Flowers project.

Is the Flowers eyeglass case kit a reasonable starting project?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the case panel and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Flowers layout is fresh and unhurried, which helps on a first attempt. The box contains the full project.

This is the most useful diamond art project I’ve done. Everything I needed was in the box – pen, wax, tray and tweezers. Gave one to my mom for Mother’s Day and she carries it everywhere. This shop has a repeat customer in me.

  2. Deborah D. (verified owner) –

Small enough to finish in one sitting, which I loved. The pen and wax worked fine, I didn’t need to dig out my own tools. Would make a really nice gift, and it arrives boxed nicely. Some colors came with barely any extras, though I didn’t run out. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

This is the most useful diamond art project I’ve done. Inside is roomier than I thought, fits my larger sunglasses fine. Glue coverage was even, no dry patches anywhere. It’s a lovely quiet hobby, and I like having something to show for it at the end. Gave one to my mom for Mother’s Day and she carries it everywhere. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Ordered two kits, this was the one I finished first. Inside is roomier than I thought, fits my larger sunglasses fine. No missing colors and no shortage on the ones used most. Did most of it over a long weekend and it was such a pleasant way to pass the time. Very pleased with how it came together. I’ll be ordering more.

Bought it as a starter kit for myself and it worked out great. It’s on my desk at work and people always comment on it. The bloom detail comes together really nicely once it’s finished. Took a bit longer to arrive than I expected. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

Bought two, one for my desk and one for my purse. The finished piece has no sharp edges near the face. I set aside twenty minutes a night for this and it’s become a ritual. My glasses stay put and I stay happy. The tray included is on the small side. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

The size is right for tossing in a bag. The interior lining is soft and won’t scratch lenses. The drills arrived clean, not stuck together in clumps. It’s a slow, quiet hobby and I like that about it. Keeps my readers from getting scratched in my purse. Couldn’t be happier with it.
