Why This Christmas Set Earns Its Place on the Table
This Christmas design shows a decorated fir tree with baubles, ribbon and a star topper, snow settling across the branches and a scatter of gifts at the base. The colour work runs through deep forest green and cherry red with gold accents on a soft white ground — an overall feel that is festive and nostalgic, never busy. A Christmas canvas is the one decoration with a guaranteed annual return — it comes out every December for years. It is designed for regular use in a busy house, not occasional display. Designed for December decorating and holiday hosting, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD580. Every DOTZSO diamond painting kit is built for people who want the make to feel calm and the result to be something they actually use. Contents: colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, sorting tray, comfort-grip pen, wax caddy and illustrated step-by-step instructions.
The construction is deliberately simple: anti-slip body, cork backing, seated drill surface. That combination is what keeps the set out of a drawer.
The set runs to 6 coasters, each on the same cork-backed base for a consistent feel in the hand.

What’s in the Box
- 6 × anti-slip coaster with cork-backed base
- 1 × display holder / stand
- DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
- Diamond painting tray
- Comfort-grip applicator pen
- Wax caddy
- Pictorial step-by-step instructions
How to Make It
- Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
- Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
- Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
- Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
- Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
- Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.
Complete the set over a few quiet evenings, then put it to work — these are made to be handled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the coaster set include everything visible in the product images?
Yes. The Christmas coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD580.
Does the Christmas finish stay intact under regular use?
Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Christmas design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Coverage on the Christmas face does not degrade with use.
What care does the Christmas design require?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Christmas palette, deep forest green and cherry red tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. There is no need for anything stronger than a damp cloth.
Is the Christmas piece fully covered or partly printed?
The drilled finish and palette are matched across the whole set, but each coaster carries its own printed motif. The Christmas artwork is drawn so that a decorated fir tree with baubles reads clearly at any distance. The Christmas pattern carries to the outer edge.
Can the Christmas coaster set be completed in a week of evenings?
Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Christmas design is festive and nostalgic, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. Progress is steady rather than dramatic on the Christmas piece.
Is the Christmas design suitable for a first project?
Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Christmas layout is festive and nostalgic, which helps on a first attempt. The set is complete as shipped.
