Flowers 6-piece coaster set by DOTZSO — a loose cluster of mixed blooms at different heights in mixed warm and cool florals over a muted ground so the arrangement reads relaxed rather than formal. Why This Flowers Set Earns Its Place on the Table

Here the Flowers motif is built around a loose cluster of mixed blooms at different heights, buds and open heads together, with stems crossing naturally, carried by mixed warm and cool florals over a muted ground so the arrangement reads relaxed rather than formal. The result reads as fresh and unhurried — considered rather than busy. Clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing. It is designed for regular use in a busy house, not occasional display. Designed for kitchens and dining areas, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD471. clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing. That is the part that matters most here.

clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing. In practice that means the finished piece sits comfortably in kitchens and dining areas, where the fresh character of the palette does the decorating for you.

Every DOTZSO diamond painting kit is built for people who want the make to feel calm and the result to be something they actually use. Contents: colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, sorting tray, comfort-grip pen, wax caddy and illustrated step-by-step instructions.

The construction is deliberately simple: anti-slip body, cork backing, seated drill surface. That combination is what keeps the set out of a drawer.

The set runs to 6 coasters, each on the same cork-backed base for a consistent feel in the hand.

What’s in the Box

  • 6 × anti-slip coaster with cork-backed base
  • 1 × display holder / stand
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
  5. Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.

Complete the set over a few quiet evenings, then put it to work — these are made to be handled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does everything for the Flowers design come in one order?

Yes. The Flowers coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD471.

Is the Flowers coaster set built to be handled, or is it delicate?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Flowers design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Give the seal a full cure and the Flowers finish will hold.

How do I freshen up the Flowers coaster set?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Flowers palette, mixed warm and cool florals over a muted ground so the arrangement reads relaxed rather than formal tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Avoid abrasive pads, which would dull the Flowers surface.

Does the Flowers coaster set have complete drill work?

The drilled finish and palette are matched across the whole set, but each coaster carries its own printed motif. The Flowers artwork is drawn so that a loose cluster of mixed blooms at different heights reads clearly at any distance. The Flowers design is worked without breaks in coverage.

How much time should I set aside for the Flowers coaster set?

Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Flowers design is fresh and unhurried, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Flowers pattern is easy to work in short bursts.

Does the Flowers design assume any prior skill?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Flowers layout is fresh and unhurried, which helps on a first attempt. The kit arrives ready to begin.

  1. Rebecca A. –

I made one the first night just to see how it went, then did the rest over the week. Would make a really nice gift, and it arrives boxed nicely. The floral palette is softer in person, which I actually prefer. Can’t wait to start the next one.

These little coasters are the perfect size for a quick project. Nice thickness – not the flimsy cardboard kind. It’s the kind of project that feels creative without being stressful. Solid kit, would order again.

I do these while dinner is in the oven. Great little time filler. It’s the kind of project you feel good about finishing. I’ll be ordering more.

Such a fun format – one coaster at a time, no big commitment. Cork base means no scratches on our wood table, which I was worried about. It’s my go-to when I want something enjoyable that doesn’t take much thought. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Bought a set as a hostess gift and kept a set for myself. Gave a set to my neighbor as a housewarming gift and she loved them. I wish the printed legend was a little bigger. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

Bought a set for the camper and they’ve been great. The cork backing is properly attached, not just glued on the edges. I got through it faster than I thought I would. Finished piece looks even better in person than in the listing photos. Easy recommendation.

A friend wouldn’t stop talking about hers, so I finally ordered one. The finished piece looks far more expensive than the kit cost. A great little find.

  8. Elijah Carlisle (verified owner) –

I wanted something I could finish in a sitting or two and these were it. Each one took me a string of quiet nights to finish, quicker than I expected. It’s a lovely quiet hobby, and I like having something to show for it at the end. The sorting tray is shallow, drills spill out if you’re not careful. It reads as a deliberate design choice, not a craft. A good buy, with one or two caveats.

  9. Jacob Sanford –

Picked this up as a small reward after a long quarter at work. The cork backing is properly attached, not just glued on the edges. It\’s a lovely take on a flower design. I set aside twenty minutes a night for this and it\’s become a ritual. They\’re a bit small for a large tumbler. I\’d order again, just knowing what to expect.

  10. Oscar Mcgee (verified owner) –

These were a housewarming gift and I nearly kept them. All eight coasters came out the same size, which isn’t always the case. It’s a lovely take on a bloom design. Nice to have something that gets me off my phone for a while. I gave a set to a friend and she uses them constantly. Will be ordering more for gifts.

  11. Earnest French –

Bought these to replace a tired set and the upgrade is obvious. The backing grips the table instead of sliding around. It’s easy to pick up and put down, which suits my schedule. The pen that came with it is a bit flimsy, I swapped in my own. Would buy again; the notes are minor.

I’ve bought from this shop a few times now and this is another good one. Great little housewarming gift. Some colors came with barely any extras, though I didn’t run out. Would still recommend it.

  13. EveningDrills –

A set of coasters felt like the perfect bite-sized project. They’re sized well for a standard mug and a wider tumbler too. I picked it up whenever I had a spare twenty minutes. They’ve become part of the everyday routine here. Exactly what I was hoping for.

  14. Chad Sharp (verified owner) –

Bought a set as a hostess gift and kept a set for myself. The drills are uniform and sit flat with no gaps. They stack away neatly when I want the table clear. Took me a while to get the hang of the multi-placer tip. Mild quibbles, but a good purchase.

I’ve bought from this shop a few times now and this is another good one. The flower detail is impressive up close. Nothing was damaged in shipping and the packaging was neat. I’m proud to have this on display. I wish the box were sturdier for storage. Worth it, just go in with the right expectations.

Second time ordering this style, still happy with it. The flower pattern is what made me choose this one. I keep them out for guests and always get asked about them. Very pleased overall.

I’ve finished four of these now and this might be my favorite. Each one took me a few evenings to finish, quicker than I expected. It’s a lovely quiet hobby, and I like having something to show for it at the end. They make the whole table look more put together. Great kit, no complaints.

Bought a set as a hostess gift and kept a set for myself. All eight coasters came out the same size, which isn’t always the case. It turned into something I actually want to display, not shove in a drawer. One coaster was slightly thicker than the others. Would still recommend it.

  19. Toni Morales –

Was looking for something to do with my hands in the evenings. Each coaster is a solid, even thickness with no warping. The wax ran out before I finished and I had to use my own. I’ve been doing it in the evenings with my partner, we take turns on sections. I’m really proud of how it turned out. I’d order it again knowing what I know now.

  20. Joel Mooney –

Ordered two of these and gave one away as a gift. Symbols on the chart are printed clearly enough to follow without guessing. The wax and pen that came with it worked fine right out of the box. I do this on the porch in the summer and it’s lovely. The cork on one had a small rough patch. Gave a set to my neighbor as a housewarming gift and she loved them. It’s a lovely take on a bloom design. Good enough that I’d buy another.

  21. Roxanne Ferrell –

Ordered this after seeing it on a friend’s shelf. The drills sit flush, so glasses don’t wobble on top. The repetitive motion is oddly satisfying, one of those simple pleasures. They’ve replaced the store-bought ones entirely. No complaints at all.

Honestly better quality than I expected for the price. Packaging was tidy and nothing had spilled in transit. The adhesive is plenty sticky, the drills stay exactly where I put them. Really relaxing to do in the evening instead of scrolling. Very pleased with how it came together. Highly recommend.

I bought this to have something to look forward to after work. The pen and wax worked fine, I didn’t need to dig out my own tools. It became my end-of-day wind-down. The wax ran low before I finished the last section. Good enough that I’d buy another.

Exactly what the listing described, no surprises. Each coaster is a good thickness and feels sturdy in the hand. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. I did this with my mom on the weekends and we both got into it. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

Was looking for a small diamond art project and these nailed it. The edges are smooth, so nothing catches on a cloth when I wipe them. Good quality drills with clean edges, not chipped. I did it in short bursts and it never felt rushed. Already ordered another one from DOTZSO. Exactly what I was hoping for.

These were a housewarming gift and I nearly kept them. This is a lovely bloom piece for the price. The adhesive held well across several weeks of working on it. Really calming, repetitive work, and satisfying when a section is finished. They look like a proper matched set. Very pleased with it.

  31. Alexis Buck –

Bought it as a starter kit for myself and it worked out great. The thickness makes them feel like real coasters, not craft foam. Something about placing the drills is very settling. I’d have liked a few more spare drills in the pale colors. The final result has a nice depth to it. If you like bloom designs, this is a good example. Happy with it despite the small stuff.

Bought it for a rainy weekend and it was exactly what I needed. The cork keeps them from sticking to the table when there’s condensation. Each color was packed generously, I had plenty to spare. I do this on the porch in the summer and it’s lovely. Using them on the patio table and they’ve held up fine. Really glad I bought it.

This arrived in perfect condition, nothing bent or spilled. They wipe clean easily, which matters with coffee and kids around. Happy with it, with a few caveats.
