Why This Landscape Set Earns Its Place on the Table
The Landscape artwork on this canvas frames a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks, worked in cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon. The overall character is expansive and quiet rather than theatrical. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It is designed for regular use in a busy house, not occasional display. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. In practice that means the finished piece sits comfortably in living rooms and reading corners, where the expansive character of the palette does the decorating for you.
Every DOTZSO diamond painting kit is built for people who want the make to feel calm and the result to be something they actually use. Contents: colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, sorting tray, comfort-grip pen, wax caddy and illustrated step-by-step instructions.
The construction is deliberately simple: anti-slip body, cork backing, seated drill surface. That combination is what keeps the set out of a drawer.
The set runs to 6 coasters, each on the same cork-backed base for a consistent feel in the hand.

- 1 × display holder / stand
- DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
- Diamond painting tray
- Comfort-grip applicator pen
- Wax caddy
- Pictorial step-by-step instructions
How to Make It
- Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
- Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
- Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
- Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
- Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
- Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.
Complete the set over a few quiet evenings, then put it to work — these are made to be handled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the coaster set ready to use straight away?
Yes. The Landscape coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD360.
Will the Landscape coaster set hold together through regular use?
Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Sealing properly is the whole of the maintenance story here.
What is the simplest care routine for the Landscape coaster set?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. The Landscape palette holds up better kept out of strong sun.
Does the Landscape piece have any printed-only areas?
The drilled finish and palette are matched across the whole set, but each coaster carries its own printed motif. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. The Landscape piece reads as complete once the drilling is done.
Does the Landscape design take a single sitting?
Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. Colour-block working speeds up the Landscape design considerably.
What experience does the Landscape coaster set assume?
Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. Every element needed is supplied.
