Why This Blessings Set Earns Its Place on the Table

This one works an ornamental composition centred on a blessing motif, framed with symmetrical flourishes and soft botanical detailing into a Blessings composition, coloured in warm gold and cream with muted botanical greens. The effect is warm and well-wishing and unfussy. Blessing motifs carry intent — they suit entryways and gifts where the meaning is the point. It is for makers who prefer a project with an obvious job at the end. Designed for entryways and gift giving, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD212. The symmetry is worked outward from centre, which is what keeps the ornament balanced across the whole canvas That is the detail that separates this from a generic Blessings print.

blessing motifs carry intent — they suit entryways and gifts where the meaning is the point. The warm colouring is what allows it to sit in entryways and gift giving without dominating.

Every DOTZSO diamond painting kit is built for people who want the make to feel calm and the result to be something they actually use. Contents: colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, sorting tray, comfort-grip pen, wax caddy and illustrated step-by-step instructions.

The construction is deliberately simple: anti-slip body, cork backing, seated drill surface. That combination is what keeps the set out of a drawer.

The set runs to 8 coasters, each on the same cork-backed base for a consistent feel in the hand.

What’s in the Box

  • 8 × anti-slip coaster with cork-backed base
  • 1 × display holder / stand
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
  5. Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.

Complete the set over a few quiet evenings, then put it to work — these are made to be handled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the coaster set shipped whole, or in parts to assemble yourself?

Yes. The Blessings coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD212.

Is the Blessings surface tough enough for daily contact?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Blessings design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Sealing is the step that decides the Blessings finish’s lifespan.

What should I avoid when caring for the Blessings design?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Blessings palette, warm gold and cream tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. A quick wipe is normally all the Blessings piece needs.

Does the Blessings design use drills throughout?

The drilled finish and palette are matched across the whole set, but each coaster carries its own printed motif. The Blessings artwork is drawn so that an ornamental composition centred on a blessing motif reads clearly at any distance. The Blessings artwork is fully drilled rather than partly printed.

Is the Blessings design a slow project?

Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Blessings design is warm and well-wishing, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Blessings design is paced, not rushed.

How much prior knowledge does the Blessings design need?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Blessings layout is warm and well-wishing, which helps on a first attempt. The kit is complete on delivery.

  1. Jeffrey C. –

Ordered it after seeing one a friend finished, and I get the appeal now. Each coaster is a good thickness and feels sturdy in the hand. I brought it on a week at the lake and finished most of it there. Going to order a few more for Christmas presents. Wish the cork backing were a touch thicker. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

I grabbed these to have something small to work on in the evenings. Great housewarming gift, small and thoughtful. The holder doesn’t match the coasters exactly in finish. Still a solid purchase.

  3. Olivia N. (verified owner) –

I wanted something I could finish in a sitting or two and these were it. Cork on the bottom plus the drill top makes them feel solid. The holder doesn’t match the coasters exactly in finish. The finished piece gets compliments from everyone who visits. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

  4. Landon Vaughn (verified owner) –

Got a set for the office and they dress up my desk. The edges came finished cleanly with no rough spots. They bring a bit of charm to the coffee table. One coaster had a marginally off-center print. I’d order again, just knowing what to expect.

  5. Cedric Hines (verified owner) –

These are great for a first-timer, not intimidating at all. The holder fits all 8 pieces neatly, keeps them from getting lost. I’d prefer slightly thicker cork on the base. I found it really peaceful to focus on one small area at a time. They look like a proper matched set. Happy with it, with one small caveat.

I’ve made several sets of these now as gifts. They wipe clean easily, which matters with kids around. The packaging arrived a little dented. I work on it while listening to an audiobook and the time just disappears. Worth it, just go in with the right expectations.

  7. Tessa Hadley (verified owner) –

Bought these to replace a tired set and the upgrade is obvious. The set stacks neatly in the holder on the shelf. It’s become my evening ritual – an hour of this and I feel settled. The tray included is on the small side. Good enough that I’d buy another.

  8. Pablo Dejesus (verified owner) –

Honestly better quality than I expected for the price. There were extra drills left over in every color when I finished. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. The repetitive motion is oddly satisfying, one of those simple pleasures. I’d recommend it with that one note.

  9. Nelson Barlow –

I wanted coasters that didn’t look like everyone else’s and these fit. The edges came finished cleanly with no rough spots. Colors match the listing photo really closely. The set is eight, which is more than I strictly needed. I take it to my book club and work on it while we chat. They’ve held up well to daily coffee and tea. A good buy, with one or two caveats.

  10. Marshall Ball –

Bought it as a starter kit for myself and it worked out great. The cork backing is a nice touch, they don’t slide around on the table. Instructions were minimal, though it’s easy enough to figure out. I’ve had three people ask me where I bought it. Worth it, just go in with the right expectations.

These little coasters are the perfect size for a quick project. Everyone who sees it asks how long it took. The edges could be sealed a bit better for daily use. Still worth it overall.

These are great for a first-timer, not intimidating at all. It makes a lovely gift and arrives nicely packaged. Took a bit longer to arrive than I expected. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

  13. Mercedes Butler (verified owner) –

I bought two sets so I could gift one and keep one. The wax and pen that came with it worked fine right out of the box. Took me a while to get the hang of the multi-placer tip. Really calming, repetitive work, and satisfying when a section is finished. Minor gripes aside, I’d buy it again.

  14. Ian Maier –

I saw this on the shop page and couldn’t talk myself out of it. They fit a standard mug or glass without overhang. The pen was fine, though I ended up using my own. Good kit — the notes above are minor.

These little coasters are the perfect size for a quick project. The drills sit nice and flush, no gaps showing the surface underneath. The edges could be sealed a bit better for daily use. My friends all want one now. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

Was looking for a small diamond art project and these nailed it. Great little housewarming gift. One of the 8 coasters had a slightly off-center print. Worth it despite the small things.

Perfect little kit – not overwhelming like a full canvas. They’re practical enough to actually use, which is the point. The edges could be sealed a little better for daily use. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

  18. FloridaSunCrafter (verified owner) –

I made one the first night just to see how it went, then did the rest over the week. The holder is sturdy enough that I actually keep them in it. Keeps my hands busy during long flights and hotel evenings. One of the 8 coasters had a slightly off-center print. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

Picked this up before a long flight and it saved the trip. Extra drills were included for every color, which I appreciated. The colors work beautifully with the room. The wax ran low before I finished the last section. Good enough that I’d buy another.

Was looking for a small diamond art project and these nailed it. Cork on the bottom plus the drill top makes them feel solid. There were slightly more drills than needed, so it took longer than planned. I’ll be buying more from this shop. Still worth it overall.

I’m a repeat DOTZSO customer at this point and this kit did not disappoint. They fit a standard mug or glass without overhang. Took me a while to get the hang of the multi-placer tip. Would buy again; the notes are minor.

  22. Julia Harris (verified owner) –

My sister got me into these and this is my latest one. The cork backing is a nice touch, they don’t slide around on the table. The adhesive is plenty sticky, the drills stay exactly where I put them. It’s become my evening ritual – an hour of this and I feel settled. The printed chart could have been a touch larger. I gave a set to a friend and she uses them constantly. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.
