Flower 8-piece coaster set by DOTZSO — a single bloom captured fully open in blush and coral petals. The petal transitions use three close shades in sequence, which is what gives the bloom volume instead of a flat outline. It is for makers who prefer a project with an obvious job at the end. The pack contains everything, starting with the printed canvas, anti-slip cork-backed coasters, holder and DOTZSO resin drills, tray, pen, wax and instructions.

Why This Flower Set Earns Its Place on the Table

This canvas takes a single bloom captured fully open, petals layered from tight centre to relaxed outer edge, with two leaves framing the stem as its subject, rendered in blush and coral petals with fresh green stems against a soft cream ground. The mood settles at gentle and bright, which is what keeps it easy to live with. A single flower shot through with graded colour does more for a small wall than a busy bouquet. It suits homes where practical objects still have to look considered. Designed for bedrooms and quiet morning spaces, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD605. a single flower shot through with graded colour does more for a small wall than a busy bouquet. That is the part that matters most here.

a single flower shot through with graded colour does more for a small wall than a busy bouquet. Hung in bedrooms and quiet morning spaces, the gentle palette does the work and the artwork stays understated.

Built by DOTZSO for people who like their crafts practical, this one leaves the shelf and joins the table. The kit includes a colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip applicator pen, a wax caddy and pictorial steps.

The difference between a coaster you use and one you store comes down to the backing layer. Cork underneath, seated drills on top, and the set survives a normal household.

Every one of the 8 coasters carries the same finish, so the set sits together cleanly.

What’s in the Box

  • 8 × anti-slip coaster with cork-backed base
  • 1 × display holder / stand
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
  5. Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.

Work at whatever speed you like, then put the completed set directly into rotation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Flower coaster set arrive ready to work on?

Yes. The Flower coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD605.

How does the Flower surface cope with everyday handling?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Flower design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. It holds its finish as long as it is not left soaking.

Does the Flower piece require any upkeep?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Flower palette, blush and coral petals tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. The Flower surface cleans up with minimal effort.

How complete is the drill work on the Flower coaster set?

The drilled finish and palette are matched across the whole set, but each coaster carries its own printed motif. The Flower artwork is drawn so that a single bloom captured fully open reads clearly at any distance. The Flower pattern carries to the outer edge.

Is the Flower coaster set a long or short project?

Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Flower design is gentle and bright, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. It is a project rather than a single evening’s task.

Is the Flower coaster set approachable for beginners?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Flower layout is gentle and bright, which helps on a first attempt. There is nothing further to source before starting.

Bought a set to use at our lake house and ended up making all eight. They look great on the sideboard and are genuinely useful. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. Would order again despite the small issues.

I made one the first night just to see how it went, then did the rest over the week. I’ll be buying more from this shop. Instructions were pretty minimal, though there are plenty of tutorials online. Still worth it overall.

  3. Emilia Mcmahon (verified owner) –

I wanted something I could finish in a sitting or two and these were it. I’ve already had several people ask where it came from. The packaging arrived a little dented. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

I’ve had my eye on this design since last season. The set stacks neatly in the drawer when not in use. The pen that came with it is a bit flimsy, I swapped in my own. I finished it over a couple of weekends. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

I wanted something I could finish in a sitting or two and these were it. They look like a proper matched set. The box arrived a bit dented, though nothing inside was damaged. A good buy, with one or two caveats.

  6. Ethan H. (verified owner) –

Really nice kit, especially for the money. The holder is sturdy enough that I actually keep them in it. Did most of it over a long weekend and it was such a pleasant way to pass the time. The adhesive picked up a bit of dust while I was working over several days. They look lovely stacked in the holder on the coffee table. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

  7. Tiffany Sexton (verified owner) –

Perfect little kit – not overwhelming like a full canvas. Cork base means no scratches on our wood table, which I was worried about. The holder finish doesn’t quite match the coasters. They bring a bit of charm to the coffee table. Good enough that I’d buy another.

Not my first diamond painting, but one of my favorites. The drills came in labeled bags, which made sorting painless. I do this while listening to music and the time disappears. We actually use them every day, not just display them. The packaging was a little crushed on one corner. Overall happy, just a few small things.

These are my go-to when I want a small craft that still feels rewarding. They wipe clean easily, which matters with kids around. Great value for what you get. The bloom artwork is the reason I clicked. The pen was fine, though I ended up using my own. Overall a good experience.

This one caught my eye on the new arrivals page. They sit by the coffee maker and get used constantly. The edges could be sealed a little better for daily use. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

These little coasters are the perfect size for a quick project. Would make a really nice gift, and it arrives boxed nicely. I’d prefer slightly thicker cork on the base. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

  12. Rachel G. (verified owner) –

Ordered two kits, this was the one I finished first. I’ve had three people ask me where I bought it. There were slightly more drills than needed, so it took longer than planned. The flower detail comes together really nicely once it’s finished. Still worth it overall.

  13. Ida Shelton (verified owner) –

Such a fun format – one coaster at a time, no big commitment. Each one took about an evening, quicker than I expected. It’s my go-to when I want something enjoyable that doesn’t take much thought. They’re a bit small for a large tumbler. Happy with it, with one small caveat.

  14. Bernadette Beckman –

These are my favorite style of kit to give away. Nothing was damaged in shipping and the packaging was neat. I like that it’s creative without requiring any decisions. I’d prefer slightly thicker cork on the base. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

  15. Terrence E. (verified owner) –

Bought a set as a hostess gift and kept a set for myself. They look great on the sideboard and are genuinely useful. One of the 8 coasters had a slightly off-center print. Still a solid purchase.

  16. Phyllis Ratliff (verified owner) –

I’m not usually a craft person, but this one converted me. Cork on the bottom plus the drill top makes them feel solid. It looks like something from a home decor shop. One coaster had a marginally off-center print. Happy with it, with one small caveat.

  17. Tom Lambert (verified owner) –

Bought this as a reward for getting through a busy stretch at work. Everyone who sees it asks how long it took. One bag of drills had come open in transit. Worth it despite the small things.

  18. Ruby Dejesus (verified owner) –

I ordered these for the living room and they look intentional. If this style appeals to you, it delivers. The finish is even across the whole piece. The work is repetitive in a good way. One coaster was slightly thicker than the others. The finished piece looks far better than I expected. Overall a good experience.

I wanted something I could finish in a sitting or two and these were it. Gave a set to my neighbor as a housewarming gift and she loved them. Wish the cork backing were a touch thicker. Still worth it overall.

Small enough to take along on a trip. They bring a bit of charm to the coffee table. This is a lovely flower piece for the price. I’d prefer slightly thicker cork on the base. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

I do these while dinner is in the oven. Great little time filler. They look great on the sideboard and are genuinely useful. One coaster had a marginally off-center print. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

Perfect little kit – not overwhelming like a full canvas. The packaging kept everything organized and undamaged. I’d prefer slightly thicker cork on the base. The flower pattern is what made me choose this one. We actually use them every day, not just display them. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this one deserved it. The finish on each coaster is consistent across the set. The adhesive picked up lint over the days I worked on it. A useful gift that people actually keep out. The floral detail is impressive up close. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.
