Why This Flowers Set Earns Its Place on the Table
This one works a loose cluster of mixed blooms at different heights, buds and open heads together, with stems crossing naturally into a Flowers composition, coloured in mixed warm and cool florals over a muted ground so the arrangement reads relaxed rather than formal. The effect is fresh and unhurried and unfussy. Clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing. It fits anyone who wants a handmade set without the upkeep ceramics demand. Designed for kitchens and dining areas, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD527. Clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing It is also why the piece keeps working after the novelty fades.
clustered florals suit rooms that already have pattern — they add softness without competing. The fresh colouring is what allows it to sit in kitchens and dining areas without dominating.
A DOTZSO kit is designed so the making is restful and the finished piece earns its place in the room. Alongside the canvas you get DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip applicator pen, a wax caddy and pictorial instructions.
What makes this a working set rather than a display piece is underneath – a cork backing that takes the moisture before it reaches the furniture.
Matched drills across all 8 pieces mean the set looks deliberate when stacked or spread out.

- Diamond painting tray
- Comfort-grip applicator pen

How to Make It
- Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
- Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
- Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
- Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
- Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
- Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.
Finish the set at an easy pace, then leave it on the table rather than boxing it up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the coaster set a full set or a partial one?
Yes. The Flowers coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD527.
Does the Flowers coaster set keep its appearance over time?
Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Flowers design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Seat the drills evenly and the Flowers piece is stable long term.
What is the safest cleaner for the Flowers design?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Flowers palette, mixed warm and cool florals over a muted ground so the arrangement reads relaxed rather than formal tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Store it dry and the Flowers piece needs very little attention.
Is the Flowers design full drill or partial drill?
The drilled finish and palette are matched across the whole set, but each coaster carries its own printed motif. The Flowers artwork is drawn so that a loose cluster of mixed blooms at different heights reads clearly at any distance. Nothing on the Flowers face is left as plain surface.
How long will the Flowers coaster set keep me occupied?
Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Flowers design is fresh and unhurried, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. It is a project rather than a single evening’s task.
How beginner-friendly is the Flowers coaster set?
Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Flowers layout is fresh and unhurried, which helps on a first attempt. The pack is self-contained.
