Cow 8-piece coaster set by DOTZSO — a cow standing in three-quarter view with distinct hide markings in creamy white and deep brown markings. Why This Cow Set Earns Its Place on the Table

Here the Cow motif is built around a cow standing in three-quarter view with distinct hide markings, horn and muzzle detail, against a simple pasture ground, carried by creamy white and deep brown markings with a soft green pasture behind. The result reads as pastoral and grounded — considered rather than busy. Cow motifs anchor farmhouse styling — they read as rural without tipping into novelty. It fits anyone who wants a handmade set without the upkeep ceramics demand. Designed for farmhouse and country interiors, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD682. cow motifs anchor farmhouse styling — they read as rural without tipping into novelty, and the treatment of the colour is what carries it.

cow motifs anchor farmhouse styling — they read as rural without tipping into novelty. In practice that means the finished piece sits comfortably in farmhouse and country interiors, where the pastoral character of the palette does the decorating for you.

A DOTZSO kit is designed so the making is restful and the finished piece earns its place in the room. Alongside the canvas you get DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip applicator pen, a wax caddy and pictorial instructions.

What makes this a working set rather than a display piece is underneath – a cork backing that takes the moisture before it reaches the furniture.

Matched drills across all 8 pieces mean the set looks deliberate when stacked or spread out.

What’s in the Box

  • 8 × anti-slip coaster with cork-backed base
  • 1 × display holder / stand
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
  5. Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.

Finish the set at an easy pace, then leave it on the table rather than boxing it up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the coaster set I receive the same as the listing shows?

Yes. The Cow coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD682.

Does the Cow coaster set keep its appearance over time?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Cow design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Only prolonged soaking would put the Cow surface at risk.

What should I avoid when cleaning the Cow design?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Cow palette, creamy white and deep brown markings tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. A microfibre cloth works well on the Cow surface.

How much of the Cow coaster set carries drills?

The drilled finish and palette are matched across the whole set, but each coaster carries its own printed motif. The Cow artwork is drawn so that a cow standing in three-quarter view with distinct hide markings reads clearly at any distance. There are no unworked sections on the Cow piece.

How long will the Cow coaster set take overall?

Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Cow design is pastoral and grounded, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Cow layout allows you to stop and resume freely.

Can the Cow coaster set be done by a child with help?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Cow layout is pastoral and grounded, which helps on a first attempt. The pack is self-contained.

These are my go-to when I want a small craft that still feels rewarding. Each coaster is a good thickness and feels sturdy in the hand. Nice mindful project – you can’t think about much else while you’re placing drills. Gave it to my niece as a gift and it was a big hit. The edges could be sealed a bit better for daily use. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

This one caught my eye and I’m glad it did. No missing colors and no shortage on the ones used most. I do this on the porch in the summer and it’s lovely. I love how the fall colors turned out. Very happy with this purchase.

Really nice kit, especially for the money. Nothing arrived damaged, and everything was sealed properly. The drills have a nice sparkle to them, not dull or flat. The repetitive motion is oddly satisfying, one of those simple pleasures. It fits perfectly with the decor in the Family room. Really pleased with this one.

Got these for the kitchen table and they look so cute. Packaging was tidy and nothing had spilled in transit. The holder is a little loose, the coasters rattle when you move it. Using them on the patio table and they’ve held up fine. I love how the fall colors turned out. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

Bought a set as a hostess gift and kept a set for myself. The edges are finished cleanly, no rough spots. The drills sit nice and flush, no gaps showing the surface underneath. I picked the fall version and the colors are lovely. Perfect for winding down before bed, much better than watching another show. They sit by the coffee maker and get used constantly. Really pleased with this one.

Added this to my cart at the last minute and I’m glad I did. They’re a nice size for a standard mug, and even a wider tumbler fits. The tray included is on the small side. It’s easy to pick up and put down, which suits my schedule. Happy with it, with one small caveat.

These little coasters are the perfect size for a quick project. We actually use them every day, not just display them. The holder is a little loose, the coasters rattle when you move it. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

It’s the sort of project that makes an evening feel well spent. They look lovely stacked in the holder on the coffee table. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Bought a set for the camper and they’ve been great. The symbols on the chart were easy to follow from start to finish. I take it on the porch in the evenings when the weather is nice. Will definitely be back.

I do these while dinner is in the oven. Great little time filler. The release paper peeled back cleanly without tearing. I brought it on a weekend trip and finished most of it there. The overall look is clean and cohesive. This exceeded what I expected.

Bought these for our patio table and they look charming. The thickness makes them feel like real coasters, not craft foam. Shipping took a bit longer than the estimate. It’s found a permanent spot in the house. I’d recommend it with that one note.

Got these for the kitchen table and they look so cute. They wipe clean easily, which matters with coffee and kids around. The repetitive motion is oddly satisfying, one of those simple pleasures. They look great on the sideboard and are genuinely useful. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. Would order again despite the small issues.

My daughter chose this one for us to work on together. The holder is sturdy enough that I actually keep them in it. I do this on the porch in the summer and it’s lovely. They’ve survived a house full of guests without a mark. Highly recommend.

I’ve done a handful of these now and this one is up there with the best. The drills came in labeled bags, which made sorting painless. Drill colors are well separated, no squinting to tell two shades apart. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. Perfect for a cozy evening in when you want to keep your hands busy. They’re a hit whenever we have people over. Still worth it overall.

These were a housewarming gift and I nearly kept them. The adhesive held firmly without any lifting at the edges. It’s a good way to slow down at the end of the day. The set is eight, which is more than I strictly needed. I’d order it again knowing what I know now.

Grabbed this on a whim after a long week. Colors match the listing photo really closely. Drill colors are well separated, no squinting to tell two shades apart. I do a section after work with a cup of tea and it’s a nice way to unwind. A few bags weren’t labeled as clearly as the rest. Finished piece looks even better in person than in the listing photos. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.
