How to Make It
- Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
- Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
- Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
- Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one coaster at a time rather than moving across the whole set.
- Complete all coasters, then press each finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
- Finally, leave the set on the table for a few hours before first use so the drills settle fully.
Work through it gradually, then let the finished coasters take their place in daily use.
