About This Landscape Design

This Landscape design shows a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks. The colour work runs through cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon — an overall feel that is expansive and quiet, never busy. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It fits anyone who needs a reason to put the phone down for a few evenings. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4420-Q4425. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it.

landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It is why the piece settles into living rooms and reading corners without needing the rest of the scheme to match it.

This is a DOTZSO canvas for people who want the process to slow them down and the result to last. Every kit ships with a colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip pen, a wax caddy and printed instructions.

There is no hidden step with this kit. Match the symbol, place the drill, work the block, and the canvas fills in predictably.

With 6 canvases in the kit, the project runs across a longer stretch of evenings.

What’s in the Box

  • 6 × colour-printed canvas
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.

Finish it at an unhurried pace, then frame it — the canvas is built to be displayed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the full set included with this Landscape diamond painting kit?

Yes. The Landscape diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4420-Q4425.

How does the Landscape diamond painting kit perform long term?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. The Landscape surface tolerates being picked up and moved.

How do I keep the Landscape diamond painting kit free of dust?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Wipe along the drill lines rather than across them.

Does the Landscape design rely on printed detail anywhere?

The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. Every section of the Landscape design carries drills.

Does the Landscape design take a single sitting?

Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. Colour-block working speeds up the Landscape design considerably.

Can the Landscape diamond painting kit be completed without prior practice?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. You can start as soon as it arrives.

A bigger project than I’ve done before, but so worth the time. The adhesive is plenty sticky, the drills stay exactly where I put them. Really relaxing to do in the evening instead of scrolling. The finished piece looks stunning in natural light. Loved it, no regrets.

The detail on this canvas is really nice up close. It’s the kind of project you feel good about finishing. The canvas had a slight crease from shipping, though it flattened out. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

Ordered it after seeing one a friend finished, and I get the appeal now. It’s the nicest thing I’ve made so far. The scenery palette is softer in person, which I actually prefer. Happy customer here.

I’ve been doing these for about a year and this is a solid kit. The glue is tacky enough that I can reposition if I misplace a drill. Keeps my hands busy during long flights and hotel evenings. This shop has a repeat customer in me.

Second time ordering this style, still happy with it. Symbol letters are small but legible, and the legend helped a lot. It’s become my evening ritual – an hour of this and I feel settled. Once framed it looks like something you’d buy in a gallery. Can’t wait to start the next one.

Bigger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The drills cover edge to edge with no bald spots. It looks like real art in a simple frame. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Ordered this after seeing it on a friend’s shelf. The printed area is bordered, so framing is straightforward. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart. I worked through it over several quiet evenings. It’s hanging on the wall and looks fantastic. Mild quibbles, but a good purchase.

I’ve done smaller kits and this felt like a proper project. The canvas laid flat after a day under a couple of books. I put on an audiobook and worked through it in a few sittings. I’m a sucker for anything landscape-themed. Really happy with this one.

Found this while browsing and couldn’t leave without it. The glue is tacky enough to reposition a misplaced drill. The scenery pattern is what made me choose this one. I work on it while listening to an audiobook and the time just disappears. Two thumbs up from me.

The detail on this canvas is what sold me. The printed canvas is genuinely crisp, even in the dense areas. The symbols are small in the detailed areas. It’s the kind of task that quiets a busy mind. It’s one of the nicest things I’ve made. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

Bought this for the living room wall and it was worth the time. There’s enough margin on the edges for framing. The canvas printing is crisp and the symbols are easy to read, even in low light. I finished it over a couple of weekends. The finished piece looks stunning in natural light. Would definitely buy again.

The packaging kept everything organized and undamaged. A peaceful project that fits into whatever time you have. Would order again despite the small issues.

I ordered this to fill a blank wall in the hallway. There’s enough white space at the border for framing without cropping. It’s framed and on the wall now. It’s a lovely landscape piece for the wall. A solid pick.

I’ve done a handful of these now and this one is up there with the best. The drills have a nice sparkle to them, not dull or flat. The glue picked up a bit of dust over the weeks I worked on it. Looks lovely framed and hung up. I’d recommend it with that one note.

  20. Kenneth S. (verified owner) –

The printed canvas is crisp and the symbols are easy to read. The drills came in labeled bags, which made sorting painless. I set it up next to the window and do a few rows whenever the light is good. A few bags weren’t labeled as clearly as the rest. The scenery artwork looks great up on the wall. Finished piece looks even better in person than in the listing photos. I’d recommend it with that one note.

The detail on this canvas is really nice up close. Everything needed to finish was in the box, nothing extra to buy. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart. Surprisingly calming, even for someone with a short attention span. It’s hung in the bedroom and looks wonderful there. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

Bought this after finishing my last kit and it was a good call. The canvas feels substantial, not thin or flimsy. I work on it while listening to an audiobook and the time just disappears. A few drills had rough edges that needed picking off. Overall a good experience.

Ordered on a Monday, had it by the weekend. The fabric has a good weight to it and hangs flat. I worked on it while the kids did homework. The finished piece looks stunning in natural light. The canvas arrived rolled tightly and needed a night to flatten. Would recommend it with those notes.
