The effect is expansive and quiet and unfussy. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. What’s in the Box

  • 6 × colour-printed canvas
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.

Complete it in your own time, then frame it and let it occupy a wall rather than a box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Landscape diamond painting kit a complete set for the money?

Yes. The Landscape diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4941-Q4946.

Does the Landscape diamond painting kit need re-sealing after a while?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Give the seal a full cure and the Landscape finish will hold.

Can the Landscape diamond painting kit be wiped over without harm?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. A quick wipe is normally all the Landscape piece needs.

How thorough is the drill coverage on the Landscape diamond painting kit?

The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. Coverage on the Landscape piece is consistent edge to edge.

Does the Landscape diamond painting kit work well as an ongoing project?

Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. It works well as an ongoing project.

Does the Landscape design need practice beforehand?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. All materials are included.

This was my first full size canvas and it turned out better than I hoped. The scenery detail comes together really nicely once it’s finished. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. The canvas laid flat after a day under a couple of books. This one is going straight on the wall. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

This was my first full size canvas and it turned out better than I hoped. Looks beautiful in our living room, the colors tie everything together. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. Still worth it overall.

  3. Evelyn W. (verified owner) –

Bigger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. There were extra drills left over in every color when I finished. Everything I needed was in the box – pen, wax, tray and tweezers. Really calming, repetitive work, and satisfying when a section is finished. The canvas arrived folded rather than rolled, took a while to flatten. Going to order a few more for Christmas presents. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

I’m a repeat DOTZSO customer at this point and this kit did not disappoint. The glue is tacky enough that I can reposition if I misplace a drill. Keeps my hands busy during long flights and hotel evenings. I picked the scenery version and the colors are lovely. Would have liked the drills pre-sorted by color. The colors work beautifully with the room. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

Second time ordering this style, still happy with it. The chart on the side of the canvas is clear and easy to follow. I worked on this during my lunch breaks and it made the days feel better. Would make a great gift too.

Took me a few weeks of evenings and I loved every minute. I’ll be buying more from this shop. The scenery design is even prettier in person than in the photos. The canvas had a slight crease from shipping, though it flattened out. Still a solid purchase.

Bigger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. Symbols are printed clearly even in the busy areas of the landscape section. Nice mindful project – you can’t think about much else while you’re placing drills. Gave it to my niece as a gift and it went over really well. Would make a great gift too.

Took me a few weeks of evenings and I loved every minute. Color count is higher than my earlier kits, which shows in the finished piece. I do it at the kitchen table while dinner simmers. Solid kit, would order again.

This arrived in perfect condition, nothing bent or spilled. The canvas didn’t dry out over the weeks I worked on it. Keeps my hands busy during long flights and hotel evenings. Recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing craft.

Picked this up because I wanted a hobby that didn’t involve a screen. The artwork looks even better in person than the photos. Drill colors are well separated, no squinting to tell two shades apart. It’s large enough to be a real statement piece. Easy recommendation.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’m very happy with it. The scenery motif makes it feel special. The canvas printing is crisp and the symbols are easy to read, even in low light. Would make a really nice gift, and it arrives boxed nicely. The symbols are small in the detailed areas. I’d order again, just knowing what to expect.

  13. Bethany Durham (verified owner) –

Ordered it after seeing one a friend finished, and I get the appeal now. The adhesive is evenly applied across the whole canvas. The drills have a nice sparkle to them, not dull or flat. Did most of it over a long weekend and it was such a pleasant way to pass the time. It arrived folded rather than rolled and took time to flatten. It looks far more detailed than the kit suggested. A good buy, with one or two caveats.

  14. Mattie Lane (verified owner) –

This is my third order from DOTZSO and it did not disappoint. The pen and wax worked fine, I didn’t need to dig out my own tools. Quiet Sunday mornings with this and a coffee is my favorite part of the week. Once framed it looks like something you’d buy in a gallery. The adhesive picked up lint over the days I worked on it. Worth it despite the small things.

Ordered this as a small pick-me-up and it worked. The fabric is pleasant to work on and doesn’t fray at the edges. I do a section after work with a cup of tea and it’s a nice way to unwind. The landscape pattern is what made me choose this one. It brightens the whole hallway. Better than I expected.

This is the biggest canvas I’ve taken on and it’s been a joy. It came rolled and flattened out with no creases. It’s a lovely landscape piece for the wall. I work on it while listening to an audiobook and the time just disappears. This shop has a repeat customer in me.

Ordered two of these and gave one away as a gift. Color count is higher than my earlier kits, which shows in the finished piece. It’s a big piece, so it does take real commitment. The landscape palette works really well with the design. Nice mindful work that keeps you present. Overall happy, just a few small things.

A bigger project than I’ve done before, but so worth the time. The printed area is bordered, so framing is straightforward. No missing colors and nothing short in the high-use shades. I listened to a podcast and the time went by without noticing. It fills the wall above the sofa nicely. Delighted with it.

A bigger project than I’ve done before, but so worth the time. The canvas feels substantial, not thin or flimsy. Took longer than the estimated time, but that’s on me. I hung it in the hallway and people always ask where I got it. The paper backing peeled away without pulling up any drills. It’s a lovely quiet hobby, and I like having something to show for it at the end. It looks like a gallery piece now that it’s framed. The scenery piece really pulls the room together once it’s hung. I framed mine and it looks like a real painting. The fabric is pleasant to work on and doesn’t fray at the edges. I’ve been doing it in the evenings with my partner, we take turns on sections. A few bags weren’t labeled as clearly as the rest. The landscape colors are richer than the photos show. I gave one to my sister and she immediately ordered her own.
