About This Landscape Design

The subject here is a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks, set in cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon. Rather than competing for attention, the piece holds a expansive and quiet tone. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It is made for people who want an evening that ends with something on the wall. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4911-Q4916. landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. That makes it straightforward to place in living rooms and reading corners, where the expansive tone already fits.

A DOTZSO canvas is meant to replace a scrolling evening with something that leaves a finished object behind. Packed with the canvas are DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip applicator pen, a wax caddy and step-by-step pictorial guidance.

The drills are graded by shade rather than approximate colour. That is what gives the finished piece its transitions, and why the canvas holds up when you step back from it.

The kit is built around one canvas, which keeps the process simple and the framing easy.

What’s in the Box

  • 6 × colour-printed canvas
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.

Go through it block by block, then frame the canvas and hang it where it will be seen daily.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Landscape diamond painting kit delivered as one complete package?

Yes. The Landscape diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4911-Q4916.

Is the Landscape design secure once sealed?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Nothing in the Landscape assembly works loose under normal handling.

Does the Landscape design need protective treatment?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Keeping the Landscape piece dust-free is the whole routine.

Is the Landscape diamond painting kit a full coverage piece?

The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. The Landscape face has no deliberately exposed areas.

How long would a beginner need for the Landscape diamond painting kit?

Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. Expect the Landscape piece to span several relaxed sessions.

Is the Landscape diamond painting kit suitable for a first attempt?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. Nothing else needs ordering.

The detail on this canvas is really nice up close. Great value for what you get. The scenery subject is rendered with more detail than I expected. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

Bought it for a rainy weekend and it was exactly what I needed. The canvas came rolled, and it flattened out with no creases. I brought it on a week at the lake and finished most of it there. Took longer than the estimated time, but that’s on me. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

  3. Karen V. (verified owner) –

I’ve been doing these for about a year and this is a solid kit. The adhesive is plenty sticky, the drills stay exactly where I put them. Took me a while to get the hang of the multi-placer tip. It’s a slow, quiet hobby and I like that about it. It’s hanging in my craft room now and looks great. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

  4. Candace Meyer (verified owner) –

Ordered this on a quiet Sunday and it arrived faster than expected. The scenery piece really pulls the room together once it’s hung. Edges have enough margin for framing. It was worth every evening I put into it. The canvas arrived rolled tightly and needed a night to flatten. Happy with it despite the small stuff.

  5. Larry H. (verified owner) –

The detail on this canvas is really nice up close. I picked the landscape version and the colors are lovely. There were slightly more drills than needed, so it took longer than planned. Really proud to have this hanging in the house. Would order again despite the small issues.

  6. Paula Molina (verified owner) –

I keep a project going at all times and this is the current one. The drills cover edge to edge with no bald spots. I put on an audiobook and worked through it in a few sittings. The wax ran out before I finished and I had to use my own. It was worth every evening I spent on it. Still worth it overall.

  7. Emmanuel Williams –

Bought this to fill a blank wall and it did the job. The fabric has a good weight to it and hangs flat. I did most of it over a lazy weekend and enjoyed every minute. It looks like real art in a simple frame. The tray included is on the small side. Still a good kit overall.

  8. Mike Bridges (verified owner) –

This one took some patience but the result is stunning. The canvas grid lines are printed clearly enough to keep count. Once framed it looks like something you’d buy in a gallery. I went with the scenery version and the colors are lovely. Pre-sorted drills would save time. A solid purchase with a couple of notes.

This is the largest kit I’ve done and it turned out beautifully. The finished piece looks stunning in natural light. Took me a while to get the hang of the multi-placer tip. The scenery artwork is the reason I clicked. Small things aside, it’s a good buy.

  10. Eva Herrmann (verified owner) –

This showed up right when I needed a quiet evening activity. Colors matched the numbers exactly, so there was no guessing. Took longer than the estimated time, but that’s on me. It looks far more detailed than the kit suggested. Worth it despite the small things.

  11. Hugh Cherry (verified owner) –

I’ve tried a few brands and this one holds up well. The landscape artwork is the reason I clicked. The canvas was creased on arrival and needed time to flatten. It looks like real art in a simple frame. Mild quibbles, but a good purchase.

  12. Woodrow Hendrix (verified owner) –

Picked this up before a long flight and it saved the trip. The canvas feels substantial, not thin or flimsy. Glue coverage was even, no dry patches anywhere. I found the repetition genuinely calming rather than tedious. A few drills had rough edges that needed picking off. It’s the focal point of the hallway now. A good buy, with one or two caveats.

  13. Judy Nunez (verified owner) –

Bought this to fill a blank wall and it did the job. The glue is tacky enough to reposition a misplaced drill. I did this with my father on the weekends and we both got into it. Took longer than the estimated time, but that’s on me. Hung it in the hallway and it brightens the whole space. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

  14. Christie Wiley (verified owner) –

The detail on this canvas is really nice up close. It came rolled and flattened out with no creases. The scenery detail is impressive up close. Great way to slow down at the end of a busy day. The tray included is on the small side. Really proud to have this hanging in the house. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

  15. Elmer Tyler (verified owner) –

Ordered it after seeing one a friend finished, and I get the appeal now. The scenery palette works really well with the design. The canvas smell was noticeable for the first day or two. The canvas surface has a slight texture that helps the drills grip. It looks like a gallery piece now that it’s framed. Would buy again; the notes are minor.

I’ve bought from this shop a few times now and this is another good one. The legend printed on the canvas is handy to have. I pressed it under books overnight before starting. Gave it to my sister-in-law as a gift and it was a big hit. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

  17. Erin Riley (verified owner) –

This kept me busy for a solid month in the best way. The canvas is a good weight with a detailed print underneath. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. The finished piece looks far better than I expected. Small issues, but nothing that would stop me ordering again.

  18. Doreen Stone –

I keep a project going at all times and this is the current one. If you like landscape designs, this is a good example. The glue was slightly tacky in one corner. I gave one to my parents and they were speechless. Good enough that I’d buy another.

  19. CraftRoomChaos (verified owner) –

Took me a few weeks of evenings and I loved every minute. Symbol letters are small but legible, and the legend helped a lot. Took a bit longer to arrive than I expected. I’ve had three people ask me where I bought it. Would order again despite the small issues.

  20. Carmen Chambers (verified owner) –

Ordered two of these and gave one away as a gift. Drills cover edge to edge with no bald spots. The tray and tweezers included were better than I expected. It’s the kind of project that feels creative without being stressful. Took longer than the estimated time, but that’s on me. Hung it in the hallway and it brightens the whole space. Small issues, but nothing that would stop me ordering again.

I’ve done smaller kits and this felt like a proper project. My friends all want one now. A few drills had rough edges that needed picking off. A good buy, with one or two caveats.

I keep coming back to this shop because the quality is consistent. This one is going straight on the wall. The tray included is on the small side. This is a lovely landscape piece for the price. Overall happy, just a few small things.

I hung it in the hallway and people always ask where I got it. The canvas came rolled, and it flattened out with no creases. Looks lovely framed and hung up. Some colors came with barely any extras, though I didn’t run out. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

Grabbed this on a whim after a long week. Legend is printed on the canvas itself, which I find handy. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. I gave one to my parents and they were speechless. Would order again despite the small issues.

  25. Jessie Spence –

The finished size makes a real statement on the wall. The adhesive is evenly applied across the whole canvas. The canvas was creased on arrival and needed time to flatten. Nice to have something that gets me off my phone for a while. Would still recommend it.

  26. Mitchell Wells (verified owner) –

Picked this up during a sale and it was money well spent. The scenery pattern is what made me choose this one. The higher color count really shows in the finished piece. It’s the kind of hobby that makes an evening feel well spent. The glue picked up a bit of dust over the weeks I worked on it. It’s framed and hanging in the living room. Would order again despite the small issues.
