About This Landscape Design

This canvas takes a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks as its subject, rendered in cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon. The mood settles at expansive and quiet, which is what keeps it easy to live with. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It is for people who want their crafting to leave a visible result behind. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4609-Q4614. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it It is also why the piece keeps working after the novelty fades.

landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. Hung in living rooms and reading corners, the expansive palette does the work and the artwork stays understated.

The DOTZSO approach is deliberate: a canvas detailed enough to hang, and a process calm enough to repeat. All of it ships together — colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, tray, comfort-grip pen, wax caddy and illustrated instructions.

The canvas is printed with a clear symbol and colour key, which removes the guesswork – you match, place, and move on. That is the difference between a relaxing session and a frustrating one.

This is a single-canvas kit, kept self-contained for an uncomplicated evening.

What’s in the Box

  • 6 × colour-printed canvas
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.

Work at your own speed, then frame the canvas rather than storing it rolled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the diamond painting kit pictured the exact configuration that ships?

Yes. The Landscape diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4609-Q4614.

Will the Landscape diamond painting kit stand up to regular use?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Sealing properly is the whole of the maintenance story here.

Does the Landscape diamond painting kit need special care?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. The Landscape surface is not built for immersion.

Does the Landscape piece have any printed-only areas?

The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. No background area of the Landscape design is left bare.

Is the Landscape design a long-running project?

Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Landscape design suits working one colour block at a time.

How simple is the Landscape design to follow?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. The pack is self-contained.
