About This Landscape Design

Here the Landscape motif is built around a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks, carried by cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon. The result reads as expansive and quiet — considered rather than busy. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It suits a home where new wall art arrives because someone made it. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4502-Q4507. landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. That is the part that matters most here.

landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. In living rooms and reading corners the piece holds its own against the surrounding colour rather than fighting it.

Each DOTZSO canvas is produced to be worked at your own pace and framed at the end of it. You get a colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip pen, a wax caddy and clear step-by-step pictures.

Full drill coverage is the reason the finished canvas reads as artwork rather than craft. Every printed symbol is worked, so the shine is consistent across the whole surface.

The kit holds 6 canvases, allowing for a longer project or a shared session.

What’s in the Box

  • 6 × colour-printed canvas
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.

Complete it across a few quiet sessions, then frame it and let it hold the wall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Landscape diamond painting kit arrive ready to begin?

Yes. The Landscape diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4502-Q4507.

How long will the Landscape finish last with normal use?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. The Landscape work is fixed, not surface-mounted, so it does not shift.

How do I avoid damaging the Landscape surface when cleaning?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Keep it out of prolonged direct sun to hold the Landscape colours.

Is the Landscape surface fully worked?

The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. The Landscape pattern is worked uniformly, with no gaps left.

What sort of time commitment is the Landscape project?

Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Landscape piece is best treated as a project, not a race.

Is the Landscape diamond painting kit approachable for beginners?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. There is no follow-up order to make.

I hung it in the hallway and people always ask where I got it. It’s hanging in my craft room now and looks great. I wish the printed legend was a little bigger. Would order again despite the small issues.

I’ve tried a few brands and this one holds up well. It was worth every evening I spent on it. The landscape palette is softer in person, which I actually prefer. Loved it, no regrets.

  3. Betty T. (verified owner) –

This was my first full size canvas and it turned out better than I hoped. Color count is higher than my earlier kits, which shows in the finished piece. Did most of it over a long weekend and it was such a pleasant way to pass the time. Going to order a few more for Christmas presents. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I framed it once finished and it looks like real artwork. Gave it to my sister as a gift and it was a big hit. This shop has a repeat customer in me.

This kept me busy for a solid month in the best way. If you like landscape designs, this is a good one to go for. Edges have enough margin for framing. Did most of it over a long weekend and it was such a pleasant way to pass the time. Would definitely buy again.

This one took some patience but the result is stunning. The canvas came rolled, and it flattened out with no creases. Gave it to my granddaughter as a gift and it was a big hit. Took longer than the estimated time, but that’s on me. The landscape pattern is what drew me in and it didn’t disappoint. I’d recommend it with that one note.

This was my first diamond painting kit and I’m officially hooked. Gave it to my roommate as a gift and it was a big hit. The canvas arrived folded rather than rolled, took a while to flatten. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

  8. Lorene Beebe (verified owner) –

Bought this because the design has real depth to it. I went with the landscape version and the colors are lovely. There’s enough white space at the border for framing without cropping. Something about placing the drills is very settling. Two thumbs up from me.

Picked this for the size and stayed for the color range. There’s enough white space at the border for framing without cropping. The work is repetitive in a good way. The canvas was creased on arrival and needed time to flatten. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

Ordered this on a quiet Sunday and it arrived faster than expected. Each color was in its own pouch, clearly numbered. I keep it set up on a side table and do a bit whenever I have ten minutes. Very happy customer.

I framed mine and it looks like a real painting. It’s the nicest thing I’ve made so far. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. Happy with it despite the small stuff.

  12. Deborah R. (verified owner) –

I framed it once finished and it looks like real artwork. The canvas printing is crisp and the symbols are easy to read, even in low light. This is the kind of craft that’s genuinely calming after a hectic day. The canvas had a slight crease from shipping, though it flattened out. Going to order a few more for Christmas presents. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

I wanted something substantial enough to last a few weeks. It looks like real art in a simple frame. Pre-sorted drills would save time. Good kit — the notes above are minor.

Grabbed this on a whim after a long week. The legend printed on the canvas is handy to have. I do this instead of scrolling and feel much better for it. Only small gripe is that a few drills had little burrs on them. Still a good kit overall.

This canvas looked good online and better in person. There’s enough margin on the edges for framing. Really relaxing to do in the evening instead of scrolling. It’s framed and hanging in our my home office now. Completely satisfied.

This was my first full size canvas and it turned out better than I hoped. Drill colors are well separated, no squinting to tell two shades apart. Great way to slow down at the end of a busy day. Only small gripe is that a few drills had little burrs on them. Overall a good experience.

This came recommended in a crafting group I follow. The wax and pen that came with it worked fine right out of the box. I do this while listening to music and the time disappears. Would recommend to anyone on the fence.

Bought this for the living room wall and it was worth the time. Once framed it looks like something you’d buy in a gallery. The glue picked up a bit of dust over the weeks I worked on it. Worth it despite the small things.

Bought this because the design has real depth to it. The canvas didn’t dry out over the weeks I worked on it. It’s hanging in on the camping trip now and looks great. Exactly what I was hoping for.

This one caught my eye on the new arrivals page. The glue is tacky enough to reposition a misplaced drill. I picked it up whenever I had a spare twenty minutes. It’s on the wall in my office and I still look at it. Will be ordering more for gifts.

I saw this on the shop page and couldn’t talk myself out of it. The landscape motif makes it feel special. One bag of drills had come open in transit. The drills were sorted into clearly marked bags, which saved a lot of time. It gets compliments from everyone who sees it. Overall happy, just a few small things.

Took me about a month of evenings and I’d do it again. Looks beautiful in our living room, the colors tie everything together. The pen that came with it is a bit flimsy, I swapped in my own. Would still recommend it.

I hung it in the hallway and people always ask where I got it. The canvas came rolled, and it flattened out with no creases. I kept it on the coffee table and worked on it in small bites. It pulled the color scheme of the room together. I’ll be ordering more.

Bought this to do with my daughter on rainy days. It came rolled and flattened out with no creases. No missing colors and no shortage on the ones used most. The scenery piece really pulls the room together once it’s hung. The canvas was creased on arrival and needed time to flatten. I put on an audiobook and worked through it in a few sittings. Once framed it looks like something you’d buy in a gallery. Happy with it, with a few caveats.
