Landscape diamond painting kit by DOTZSO — a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist in cool pine green and slate blue. Depth is built through graded blues rather than outlines, so the scene pulls the eye inward the longer it hangs. It is aimed at makers who care about the finish as much as the process. About This Landscape Design

The Landscape artwork on this canvas frames a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks, worked in cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon. The overall character is expansive and quiet rather than theatrical. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It fits a routine that includes regular quiet sessions and a wall still needing art. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4415. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it.

landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. The expansive colouring is what allows it to sit in living rooms and reading corners without dominating.

DOTZSO designs these kits for quiet stretches of making, with a canvas good enough to display when it is done. The package contains a colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a tray, a comfort-grip pen, a wax caddy and a full illustrated reference.

The reason the finished piece looks deliberate rather than homemade is the shade grading. Close colours sit side by side, and the transitions read properly.

The 1-piece format gives you several designs to complete rather than a single canvas.

What’s in the Box

  • 1 × colour-printed canvas
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.

Give it the evenings it asks for, then frame the result and treat it as wall art.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the diamond painting kit include everything visible in the product images?

Yes. The Landscape diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4415.

Is the Landscape design robust once the sealing step is done?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. It holds its finish as long as it is not left soaking.

Is the Landscape design easy to keep presentable?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Do not soak the Landscape piece, even briefly.

How complete is the drill work on the Landscape diamond painting kit?

The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. Coverage is total across the Landscape artwork.

How long does the Landscape diamond painting kit take for a beginner?

Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. There is no deadline built into the Landscape project.

Is the Landscape design suitable for a first project?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. The package covers the whole project.

  1. Danny Bartlett (verified owner) –

I wanted something substantial enough to last a few weeks. Symbols are readable even in the busiest sections. The canvas arrived folded rather than rolled, took a while to flatten. It fills the wall exactly the way I hoped. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

  2. Rebecca Brinkley (verified owner) –

Bought this for the living room wall and it was worth the time. The printed colors underneath match the drills closely. The drills clicked into place without needing much pressure. Really soothing to focus on one small area at a time. It brightens the whole hallway. Would have liked the drills pre-sorted by color. Mild quibbles, but a good purchase.

  3. Marco Warner (verified owner) –

Bought this as a reward for getting through a busy stretch at work. The fabric is pleasant to work on and doesn’t fray at the edges. The adhesive attracted a little dust over the weeks. It’s framed and hanging above the couch. A solid purchase with a couple of notes.

  4. Sonja Zamora (verified owner) –

This one required patience and rewarded it. The large format makes a real statement when finished. It’s become the quiet part of my day that I look forward to. The canvas was creased on arrival and needed time to flatten. Overall happy, just a few small things.

  5. Gloria V. (verified owner) –

Really nice kit, especially for the money. This one is going straight on the wall. Took a bit longer to arrive than I expected. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

  6. Emilia Williamson (verified owner) –

I’ve bought from this shop a few times now and this is another good one. Symbols are printed clearly even in the busy areas of the scenery section. I did most of it over a lazy weekend and enjoyed every minute. I pressed it under books overnight before starting. It’s the focal point of the hallway now. Would recommend it with those notes.

  7. Abigail R. (verified owner) –

I keep coming back to this shop because the quality is consistent. Once framed it looks like something you’d buy in a gallery. Only small gripe is that a few drills had little burrs on them. Still a solid purchase.

  8. Briana Copeland (verified owner) –

I added this to my cart at 11pm and had zero regrets the next morning. It’s the nicest thing I’ve made so far. If this style appeals to you, it delivers. The glue was slightly tacky in one corner. Worth it despite the small things.

  9. Darla Stokes (verified owner) –

Bigger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. Once it was framed it really pulled the room together. Only small gripe is that a few drills had little burrs on them. Solid overall, just a couple of nitpicks.

  10. Verna Campbell (verified owner) –

Bought this after finishing my last kit and it was a good call. It was worth every evening I spent on it. The multi-placer tip took some practice. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

  11. Paul N. (verified owner) –

Took it slow, a section at a time, and really enjoyed the process. The finished piece gets compliments from everyone who visits. A few bags weren’t labeled as clearly as the rest. I’d recommend it with that one note.

  12. Frank Bradley (verified owner) –

This was a bigger project and I loved every evening of it. Edges have enough margin for framing. The sparkle on these drills is genuinely nice. I do this on the porch in the summer and it’s lovely. It fills the wall above the sofa beautifully. The adhesive picked up lint over the days I worked on it. The scenery artwork looks great up on the wall. I’d order again, just knowing what to expect.

Such an easy kit to get going with. It looks stunning in natural light. The packaging arrived a little dented. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

  14. SummerSessionsLB (verified owner) –

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’m very happy with it. Legend is printed on the canvas itself, which I find handy. The scenery subject matter is right up my street. Colors match the listing photo really closely. Keeps my hands busy during long flights and hotel evenings. Looks lovely framed and hung up. The canvas arrived rolled tightly and needed a night to flatten. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

  15. Victoria Sloan (verified owner) –

Ordered this as a small pick-me-up and it worked. The glue is tacky enough that I can reposition if I misplace a drill. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. It’s the nicest thing I’ve made so far. I’d order again, just knowing what to expect.

  16. Paula Sexton –

Bought this as a centerpiece project for the season. Print quality is sharp, the landscape detail really comes through. I like having something mindful to do that doesn’t need a screen. It fills the wall above the sofa beautifully. Some colors came with barely any extras, though I didn’t run out. Mild quibbles, but a good purchase.

I’ve finished four of these now and this might be my favorite. Hung it in the hallway and it brightens the whole space. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. Good kit — the notes above are minor.

  18. Penny Bauer (verified owner) –

Grabbed this during a late-night scroll and I’m glad I did. The scenery element makes it feel personal. It was worth every evening I spent on it. I’d have liked a slightly longer chart, but it was workable. Worth it despite the small things.

  19. Tony Ford (verified owner) –

Ordered two kits, this was the one I finished first. The drills are bright and consistent in size, no weird off-color batches. The landscape motif makes it feel special. I pressed it under books overnight before starting. Colors match the listing photo really closely. Nice mindful work that keeps you present. It fills the wall above the sofa nicely. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

The detail on this canvas is what sold me. The definition in the fine details holds up well. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. I’ll be ordering from this shop again. Still glad I ordered it overall.

This was my first full size canvas and it turned out better than I hoped. Symbols are readable even in the busiest sections. Some colors came with barely any extras, though I didn’t run out. Perfect for winding down before bed, much better than watching another show. It’s hanging in the bedroom now and looks great. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

Took it slow, a section at a time, and really enjoyed the process. The adhesive held well across several weeks of working on it. It reads as a proper piece of art. The pen was fine, though I ended up using my own. Overall a good experience.

I needed a screen-free hobby and this fit the bill. There’s enough margin on the edges for framing. Would have liked the drills pre-sorted by color. I keep it by my chair and pick it up whenever I have a few minutes. Still a solid purchase.

I’ve done smaller kits and this felt like a proper project. The canvas feels substantial, not thin or flimsy. Really proud to have this hanging in the house. Pre-sorted drills would save time. Still worth it overall.
