About This Landscape Design
This canvas takes a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks as its subject, rendered in cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon. The mood settles at expansive and quiet, which is what keeps it easy to live with. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It fits anyone setting up a first proper craft routine. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4839. Depth is built through graded blues rather than outlines, so the scene pulls the eye inward the longer it hangs That is the detail that separates this from a generic Landscape print.
landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. In living rooms and reading corners the piece holds its own against the surrounding colour rather than fighting it.
DOTZSO set this one up for long quiet sessions and a result with enough detail to display. The kit ships complete — colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, tray, comfort-grip pen, wax caddy and illustrated steps.
Graded drill shades are what produce the transitions in the artwork. Approximate colour matching would flatten the design; this does not.
The canvas is supplied as 1 piece, each printed with its own symbol key and colour reference.

What’s in the Box
- 1 × colour-printed canvas
- DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
- Diamond painting tray
- Comfort-grip applicator pen
- Wax caddy
- Pictorial step-by-step instructions
How to Make It
- Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
- Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
- Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
- Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
- Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
- Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.
Work through it at your own pace, then frame it and hang it somewhere you will see it daily.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the diamond painting kit ready to use straight away?
Yes. The Landscape diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4839.
Does the Landscape diamond painting kit need careful handling to stay intact?
Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Light contact and normal carrying cause no lift on the Landscape surface.
Can the Landscape diamond painting kit be cleaned with a soft brush?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape palette, cool pine green and slate blue tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. The Landscape palette holds up better kept out of strong sun.
Is the Landscape artwork partially printed or fully drilled?
The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape artwork is drawn so that a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist reads clearly at any distance. The Landscape artwork is fully drilled rather than partly printed.
What time should I allow for the Landscape design?
Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Landscape design is expansive and quiet, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. Working the Landscape design in stages keeps it enjoyable.
How much guidance does the Landscape design require?
Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape layout is expansive and quiet, which helps on a first attempt. The set is complete as shipped.

This one took some patience but the result is stunning. Nice large format, the finished piece makes a real statement. I set it up next to the window and do a few rows whenever the light is good. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. Gave it to my mom as a gift and it went over really well. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

Took me a few weeks of evenings and I loved every minute. Print quality is sharp, the landscape detail really comes through. Drill colors are well separated, no squinting to tell two shades apart. The repetitive motion is oddly satisfying, one of those simple pleasures. Took a bit longer to arrive than I expected. Going to order a few more for Christmas presents. Still worth it overall.

Took me a few weeks of evenings and I loved every minute. Nice large format, the finished piece makes a real statement. The colors work beautifully with the room. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

My sister got me into these and this is my latest one. The canvas didn’t dry out over the weeks I worked on it. Really proud to have this hanging in the house. The packaging was a little plain for a gift. Good kit — the notes above are minor.

Ordered it after seeing one a friend finished, and I get the appeal now. Print quality is sharp, the landscape detail really comes through. The landscape palette works really well with the design. It brightens the whole hallway. I’d have liked a paper chart as well as the printed one. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

The color range on this one is impressive. I love how the landscape colors turned out. Made this as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. Still a solid purchase.

I saw this on the shop page and couldn’t talk myself out of it. Drills cover edge to edge with no bald spots. The drills have a nice sparkle to them, not dull or flat. Nice to have something that gets me off my phone for a while. There were slightly more drills than needed, so it took longer than planned. It’s one of the nicest things I’ve made. Happy with it despite the small stuff.

Second time ordering this style, still happy with it. Looks lovely framed and hung up. The landscape design is even prettier in person than in the photos. The sorting tray is shallow, drills spill out if you’re not careful. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

Bought this because the design has real depth to it. The landscape subject matter is right up my street. It’s the centerpiece of that wall. The symbols are small in the detailed areas. I’d order it again knowing what I know now.

I needed a screen-free hobby and this fit the bill. Symbol letters are small but legible, and the legend helped a lot. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. The colors work beautifully with the room. Overall happy, just a few small things.

This is a genuinely nice kit for the money. Symbol letters are small but legible, and the legend helped a lot. The landscape colors are richer than the photos show. It’s framed and hanging in the living room. The pen that came with it is a bit flimsy, I swapped in my own. I’d recommend it with that one note.

Ordered it after seeing one a friend finished, and I get the appeal now. The drills cover edge to edge with no bald spots. Would have liked the drills pre-sorted by color. It’s my go-to when I want something enjoyable that doesn’t take much thought. Really proud to have this hanging in the house. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

Ordered it after seeing one a friend finished, and I get the appeal now. The kit came complete, nothing extra needed from the craft store. I take it to my book club and work on it while we chat. The adhesive attracted a little dust over the weeks. Good enough that I’d buy another.

Came across this while looking for craft ideas and bought it that day. It was worth every evening I put into it. The canvas arrived folded rather than rolled, took a while to flatten. Would still recommend it.

The detail on this canvas is really nice up close. Once framed it looks like something you’d buy in a gallery. The canvas smell was noticeable for the first day or two. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

This kept me busy for a solid month in the best way. The large format makes a real statement when finished. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. It looks like real art in a simple frame. Worth it despite the small things.

So glad I added this one to my cart. The canvas printing is crisp and the symbols are easy to read, even in low light. Would have liked the drills pre-sorted by color. It’s my screen-free hour in the evening. Happy with it, with one small caveat.

Bought this as a centerpiece project for the season. Made this as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. If this style appeals to you, it delivers. Minor quibbles aside, I’d buy it again.

Bought this to fill a blank wall and it did the job. Framed in a simple black frame and it looks like real art. I went with the scenery version and the colors are lovely. It arrived folded rather than rolled and took time to flatten. A solid purchase with a couple of notes.

I’ve done a handful of these now and this one is up there with the best. The tray and tweezers included were better than I expected. It arrived folded rather than rolled and took time to flatten. I’ll be buying more from this shop. Worth it despite the small things.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this one deserved it. Print quality is sharp, the landscape detail really comes through. One bag of drills had come open in transit. If this style appeals to you, it delivers. Great for unwinding after a busy week. Would still recommend it.

Arrived well packed and ready to start. Symbols are printed clearly even in the busy areas of the landscape section. Nice mindful project – you can’t think about much else while you’re placing drills. The landscape colors are richer than the photos show. I pressed it under books overnight before starting. It fills the wall above the sofa beautifully. I’d recommend it with that one note.
