Beach diamond painting kit by DOTZSO — a shoreline at low tide with wet sand reflections in pale sand and driftwood tones against soft sea blue and a washed-out sky. The wet-sand reflection uses the palest drills on the canvas, which is what makes the water line read as tidal rather than static. It is aimed at makers who care about the finish as much as the process. Supplied ready to start: printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, tray, pen, wax and instructions.

About This Beach Design

Here the Beach motif is built around a shoreline at low tide with wet sand reflections, scattered shells and dune grass bending toward the water, carried by pale sand and driftwood tones against soft sea blue and a washed-out sky. The result reads as sun-warmed and easy — considered rather than busy. Beach scenes extend the season indoors — they suit a coastal home long after the summer ends. It fits a routine that includes regular quiet sessions and a wall still needing art. Designed for coastal homes and summer styling, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4844. beach scenes extend the season indoors — they suit a coastal home long after the summer ends. That is the part that matters most here.

beach scenes extend the season indoors — they suit a coastal home long after the summer ends. In practice that means the finished piece sits comfortably in coastal homes and summer styling, where the sun-warmed character of the palette does the decorating for you.

DOTZSO designs these kits for quiet stretches of making, with a canvas good enough to display when it is done. The package contains a colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a tray, a comfort-grip pen, a wax caddy and a full illustrated reference.

The reason the finished piece looks deliberate rather than homemade is the shade grading. Close colours sit side by side, and the transitions read properly.

The 1-piece format gives you several designs to complete rather than a single canvas.

What’s in the Box

  • 1 × colour-printed canvas
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill – the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.
  6. Seat the canvas in its frame, or store it flat, once the surface has been pressed.

Give it the evenings it asks for, then frame the result and treat it as wall art.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Beach diamond painting kit a complete set for the money?

Yes. The Beach diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4844.

Does the Beach diamond painting kit maintain its finish under normal conditions?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Beach design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. There is nothing brittle about the finished Beach piece.

How often should the Beach diamond painting kit be cleaned?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Beach palette, pale sand and driftwood tones against soft sea blue and a washed-out sky tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Nothing abrasive should touch the Beach surface.

Is the Beach piece completely drilled?

The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Beach artwork is drawn so that a shoreline at low tide with wet sand reflections reads clearly at any distance. The whole Beach surface carries the drilled finish.

How quickly can the Beach design be completed?

Plan for two to four evenings, depending on the size of the canvas. The Beach design is sun-warmed and easy, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Beach piece can be paused at any point.

Can the Beach diamond painting kit be completed without prior practice?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Beach layout is sun-warmed and easy, which helps on a first attempt. The pack has everything for the project.

This was my first diamond painting kit and I’m officially hooked. The canvas laid flat after a day under a couple of books. Great way to slow down at the end of a busy day. The glue picked up a bit of dust over the weeks I worked on it. The colors work beautifully with the room. Good kit overall, just a couple of small things.

  2. Kayla K. (verified owner) –

The printed canvas is crisp and the symbols are easy to read. The drills cover edge to edge with no bald spots. A few bags weren’t labeled as clearly as the rest. This is the kind of craft that’s genuinely calming after a hectic day. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

  3. Rosemary Rodriguez (verified owner) –

This was exactly the kind of project I needed this month. The fabric is pleasant to work on and doesn’t fray at the edges. The canvas printing is crisp and the symbols are easy to read, even in low light. Nice to have something that gets me off my phone for a while. It’s earned a spot on the wall. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. Would still recommend it.

  4. Pamela T. (verified owner) –

This was my first full size canvas and it turned out better than I hoped. Looks lovely framed and hung up. The canvas arrived folded rather than rolled, took a while to flatten. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

  5. Beatrice Sanchez (verified owner) –

This is the largest kit I’ve done and it turned out beautifully. Color count is higher than my earlier kits, which shows in the finished piece. The canvas arrived folded rather than rolled, took a while to flatten. Surprisingly calming, even for someone with a short attention span. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

I’ve had my eye on this design since last season. It’s a lovely take on a palm tree design. Nice large format, the finished piece makes a real statement. A few drills had rough edges that needed picking off. It looks stunning in natural light. I’d order again, just knowing what to expect.

  7. Kirsten Lynch –

Bigger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. It’s the nicest thing I’ve made so far. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. Minor gripes aside, I’d buy it again.

  8. Mable Cochran (verified owner) –

I added this to my cart at 11pm and had zero regrets the next morning. Symbols are printed clearly even in the busy areas of the tropical section. I found it really peaceful to focus on one small area at a time. If you like tropical designs, this is a good example. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. Mild quibbles, but a good purchase.

  9. Jill Sexton (verified owner) –

Bought this as a centerpiece project for the season. Edges have enough margin for framing. Perfect for a cozy evening in when you want to keep your hands busy. The adhesive attracted a little dust over the weeks. It fills the wall exactly the way I hoped. Worth it despite the small things.

  10. Vaughn Brock (verified owner) –

This is the biggest canvas I’ve taken on and it’s been a joy. The drills cover edge to edge with no bald spots. Instructions were pretty minimal, though there are plenty of tutorials online. It’s large enough to be a real statement piece. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

  11. Danielle Shah (verified owner) –

This one took some patience but the result is stunning. The printed colors underneath match the drills closely. The finish is even across the whole piece. Really calming, repetitive work, and satisfying when a section is finished. It pulled the color scheme of the room together. The glue was slightly tacky in one corner. Would buy again; the notes are minor.

I hung it in the hallway and people always ask where I got it. Legend is printed on the canvas itself, which I find handy. Really calming, repetitive work, and satisfying when a section is finished. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. Overall a good experience.

  13. Cynthia H. (verified owner) –

Such a nice little project to have on the go. Legend is printed on the canvas itself, which I find handy. No missing colors and no shortage on the ones used most. Took longer than the estimated time, but that’s on me. I do this on the porch in the summer and it’s lovely. It’s the nicest thing I’ve made so far. I’d recommend it with that one note.

  14. Mandy Gibson (verified owner) –

This kept me busy through the whole winter. No missing colors and no shortage on the ones used most. Extra drills were included for every color, which I appreciated. It took longer than the estimate, though that’s on me. I keep it by my chair and pick it up whenever I have a few minutes. Framed in a simple black frame and it looks like real art. The tropical detail is impressive up close. A solid purchase with a couple of notes.

  15. Elizabeth Richards (verified owner) –

This one caught my eye on the new arrivals page. The pen and wax worked fine, I didn’t need to dig out my own tools. It’s a slow, quiet hobby and I like that about it. Only small gripe is that a few drills had little burrs on them. Once it was framed it really pulled the room together. I’d order again, just knowing what to expect.

Took me about a month of evenings and I’d do it again. The tropical artwork comes together beautifully as you work. My daughter wants one now after seeing mine. I had to press the canvas under books overnight before starting. A solid purchase with a couple of notes.

  17. Camila R. (verified owner) –

I hung it in the hallway and people always ask where I got it. The drill shapes were clean, not many chipped or stuck-together pieces. It’s my go-to when I want something enjoyable that doesn’t take much thought. I wish the printed legend was a little bigger. Really happy with the end result. I’d recommend it with that one note.

  18. Suzanne Peters (verified owner) –

Bought this for the living room wall and it was worth the time. The numbered sections are spaced well, so the work doesn’t feel cramped. The tray was smaller than I’d like for a big session. It’s hanging in out on the deck now and looks great. Overall a good experience.

  19. Percy Hanson (verified owner) –

Such an easy kit to get going with. It looks far more detailed than the kit suggested. Would have liked the drills pre-sorted by color. Overall happy, just a few small things.

I bought this for the detail work — it doesn’t feel repetitive. The palm tree motif makes it feel special. It’s a big piece, so it does take real commitment. Made this as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. Worth it, just go in with the right expectations.

  21. Melanie Fuchs (verified owner) –

This canvas has enough going on to stay interesting for weeks. The canvas came rolled, and it flattened out with no creases. The drills arrived clean, not stuck together in clumps. I finished it faster than I expected because I kept coming back to it. The symbols are quite small in the detailed areas. It’s hanging in the stairwell now and looks great. The palm tree palette works really well with the design. Would still recommend it.
