About This Landscape Design
The subject here is a layered vista of ridgelines receding into low mist, with a still lake catching the sky and pine slopes anchoring both banks, set in cool pine green and slate blue with a band of warm light at the horizon. Rather than competing for attention, the piece holds a expansive and quiet tone. Landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. It is for makers who would rather work at scale than in miniature. Designed for living rooms and reading corners, it holds up as decor rather than as something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference Q4887 70×40. Depth is built through graded blues rather than outlines, so the scene pulls the eye inward the longer it hangs Put simply, landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it.
landscape work is the most forgiving motif to live with — it never dates and it never demands the room match it. Placed in living rooms and reading corners, it reads as part of the room rather than an addition to it.
This is a DOTZSO large format kit, sized so the finished work anchors a wall rather than filling a gap. Every large kit arrives with the oversized canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a sorting tray, a comfort-grip pen, a wax caddy and printed steps.
Frame availability matters more than most makers expect at this size. The 70 x 40 cm cut keeps that straightforward rather than bespoke.
At this 70 × 40 cm scale, the printed detail stays legible rather than compressing.

What’s in the Box
- 1 × colour-printed canvas
- DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
- Diamond painting tray
- Comfort-grip applicator pen
- Wax caddy
- Pictorial step-by-step instructions
How to Make It
- Unroll the large canvas on the floor or a wide table so the edges have room to lie flat.
- Match the first symbol to its drill colour from the legend strip.
- Load the pen from the wax caddy and place the first drills in one corner of the composition.
- Work outward in colour blocks rather than across the whole canvas. On a canvas this size, block-by-block is the only efficient approach.
- Once complete, press the surface flat in sections to seat every drill before framing.
- Frame it at 70 x 40 cm, or store it rolled loosely if framing comes later.
Expect more sessions than you would with a standard kit. Framed, it earns the wall it takes up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Landscape Series-F large diamond painting kit ship with the mounting hardware included?
Yes. The Landscape Series-F large diamond painting kit ships complete with everything shown in the product images, so there is nothing else to source, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference Q4887 70×40.
Will the Landscape Series-F large diamond painting kit look the same after a year of use?
Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Landscape Series-F design holds under normal use. The sealed surface handles normal handling, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. Sealing properly is the whole of the maintenance story here.
Is the Landscape Series-F large diamond painting kit easy to wipe down?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge it or put it through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Landscape Series-F palette, muted terracotta, dusty blue and soft graphite resolved against an off-white ground tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Handle the Landscape Series-F piece with dry hands where possible.
Is the Landscape Series-F large diamond painting kit a full coverage piece?
The round resin drills are colour-sorted and matched to the printed symbol key. The Landscape Series-F artwork is drawn so that overlapping colour fields drifting across the canvas reads clearly at any distance. There are no unworked sections on the Landscape Series-F piece.
How long will the Landscape Series-F large diamond painting kit occupy me?
This is a multi-session piece — expect a week or more of evenings rather than one sitting. The Landscape Series-F design is modern and understated, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Landscape Series-F design is paced, not rushed.
Can the Landscape Series-F large diamond painting kit be a first diamond painting?
Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the canvas and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Landscape Series-F layout is modern and understated, which helps on a first attempt. The kit includes everything needed to start.
