Why This Flower Set Earns Its Place on the Table

This Flower design shows six open blooms in different stages, from tight bud to full petal spread, arranged as a single botanical study split across the set. The colour work is soft blush and coral petals with fresh green stems on cream — an overall feel that is gentle and bright, never busy. Seasonal coaster sets get packed away. A botanical set that has no holiday attached is the one you actually keep on the table in March. What sets this one apart is the treatment: This is a floral set with no seasonal deadline — the six blooms progress like a study, so the coasters stay out from spring through winter. It is built for everyday decorators who would rather not rotate their table every season — 6 coasters covers the whole table in one purchase, and the finish is matched across every piece so they read as a set rather than an assortment. Designed for year-round everyday use, it holds up as decor rather than something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD083.

A DOTZSO kit is designed so the making is restful and the finished piece earns a place in the room. The kit arrives with a colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a tray, a comfort-grip pen, a wax caddy and step-by-step pictorial guidance.

What’s in the Box

  • 6 × anti-slip coaster with cork-backed base
  • 1 × display holder / stand
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill — the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.

Work through the set at whatever pace suits, then leave it out on the table where it will actually get used.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the coaster set complete as pictured, or are parts extra?

Yes. The Flower coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD083.

How does the Flower coaster set wear compared with standard diamond art?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Flower design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. There is nothing brittle about the finished Flower piece.

Does the Flower coaster set need regular cleaning?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Flower palette, blush and coral petals tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Handle the Flower piece with dry hands where possible.

What is the pace of the Flower project?

Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Flower design is gentle and bright, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Flower piece can be paused at any point.

How hard is the Flower design for someone new to diamond painting?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Flower layout is gentle and bright, which helps on a first attempt. Everything required is in the pack.

Got these for the kitchen table and they look so cute. They wipe clean easily, which matters with coffee and kids around. The holder doesn’t match the coasters exactly in finish. They sit by the coffee maker and get used constantly. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

Really nice kit, especially for the money. They wipe clean easily, which matters with coffee and kids around. It’s my go-to when I want something enjoyable that doesn’t take much thought. I’ll be buying more from this shop. Really pleased with this one.

I made one the first night just to see how it went, then did the rest over the week. I picked the bloom version and the colors are lovely. Everything I needed was in the box – pen, wax, tray and tweezers. I do it at the kitchen table while dinner simmers. They sit by the coffee maker and get used constantly. Loved it, no regrets.

Perfect little kit – not overwhelming like a full canvas. Great housewarming gift, small and thoughtful. One of the 6 coasters had a slightly off-center print. Still worth it overall.

Such a fun format – one coaster at a time, no big commitment. Everything I needed was in the box – pen, wax, tray and tweezers. Did most of it over a long weekend and it was such a pleasant way to pass the time. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Bought a set as a hostess gift and kept a set for myself. Nothing arrived damaged, and everything was sealed properly. Quiet Sunday mornings with this and a coffee is my favorite part of the week. They look lovely stacked in the holder on the coffee table. Highly recommend.

Bought a set to use at our lake house and ended up making all eight. Cork base means no scratches on our wood table, which I was worried about. I take it to my book club and work on it while we chat. The floral pattern is what drew me in and it didn’t disappoint. They’re a hit whenever we have people over. Great kit, no complaints.

These are my go-to when I want a small craft that still feels rewarding. Nice thickness – not the flimsy cardboard kind. They look lovely stacked in the holder on the coffee table. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Second time ordering this style, still happy with it. Gave a set to my neighbor as a housewarming gift and she loved them. The bloom subject is rendered with more detail than I expected. The edges could be sealed a bit better for daily use. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

This one caught my eye and I’m glad it did. There were extra drills left over in every color when I finished. It’s a lovely quiet hobby, and I like having something to show for it at the end. Worth every penny.

I grabbed these to have something small to work on in the evenings. Each one took me an evening to finish, quicker than I expected. The flower detail comes together really nicely once it’s finished. The repetitive motion is oddly satisfying, one of those simple pleasures. This shop has a repeat customer in me.

I’ve done a handful of these now and this one is up there with the best. The thickness makes them feel like real coasters, not craft foam. The drills have a nice sparkle to them, not dull or flat. Did most of it over a long weekend and it was such a pleasant way to pass the time. My friends all want one now. The flower palette works really well with the design. Recommended without hesitation.

Ordered two kits, this was the one I finished first. The cork is dense, not the crumbly kind that sheds. Genuinely peaceful to work on one row at a time. I bring them out for guests and always get asked about them. Thumbs up from our whole family.
