Why This Flower Set Earns Its Place on the Table

This Flower design shows six open blooms in different stages, from tight bud to full petal spread, arranged as a single botanical study split across the set. The colour work is soft blush and coral petals with fresh green stems on cream — an overall feel that is gentle and bright, never busy. Seasonal coaster sets get packed away. A botanical set that has no holiday attached is the one you actually keep on the table in March. What sets this one apart is the treatment: This is a floral set with no seasonal deadline — the six blooms progress like a study, so the coasters stay out from spring through winter. It is built for everyday decorators who would rather not rotate their table every season — 6 coasters covers the whole table in one purchase, and the finish is matched across every piece so they read as a set rather than an assortment. Designed for year-round everyday use, it holds up as decor rather than something you finish and put in a drawer. Reference BD083.

A DOTZSO kit is designed so the making is restful and the finished piece earns a place in the room. The kit arrives with a colour-printed canvas, DOTZSO resin drills, a tray, a comfort-grip pen, a wax caddy and step-by-step pictorial guidance.

What’s in the Box

  • 6 × anti-slip coaster with cork-backed base
  • 1 × display holder / stand
  • DOTZSO signature resin drills, sorted by colour (with extra drills included)
  • Diamond painting tray
  • Comfort-grip applicator pen
  • Wax caddy
  • Pictorial step-by-step instructions

How to Make It

  1. Unroll the canvas on a flat surface and let it settle under something weighted if it has been rolled tight.
  2. Find the legend strip and match the first symbol to its drill colour.
  3. Press the pen tip into the wax caddy, then touch it to a drill — the drill lifts and stays on the tip.
  4. Set the drill onto the matching printed symbol and press lightly. Work one colour block at a time rather than jumping around the canvas.
  5. Continue until the design is complete, then press the finished surface flat with a book for an hour to seat every drill.

Work through the set at whatever pace suits, then leave it out on the table where it will actually get used.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the coaster set complete as pictured, or are parts extra?

Yes. The Flower coaster set ships complete with the stand shown in the product images, so the coasters have somewhere to live when they are not in use, plus the DOTZSO resin drills, tray, applicator pen, wax caddy and pictorial instructions. Nothing else needs sourcing. Reference BD083.

How does the Flower coaster set wear compared with standard diamond art?

Once the drills are seated and the surface is sealed, the Flower design holds under normal use. The cork-backed base is what stops condensation reaching the table, and the sealing step is the single biggest factor in how long the finish lasts. There is nothing brittle about the finished Flower piece.

Does the Flower coaster set need regular cleaning?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not submerge them or put them through a dishwasher — the adhesive layer under the drills is not built for a soak. For the Flower palette, blush and coral petals tones show dust less than pale grounds, so a light pass is usually enough. Handle the Flower piece with dry hands where possible.

What is the pace of the Flower project?

Roughly 30 to 45 minutes each for most people, so a full set is a few evenings rather than one sitting. The Flower design is gentle and bright, which tends to make it easier to work in short sessions. The Flower piece can be paused at any point.

How hard is the Flower design for someone new to diamond painting?

Yes. The symbol key is printed directly on the cork-backed base and the pictorial instructions walk through the whole process, so no prior diamond painting experience is needed. The Flower layout is gentle and bright, which helps on a first attempt. Everything required is in the pack.

Got these for the kitchen table and they look so cute. They wipe clean easily, which matters with coffee and kids around. The holder doesn’t match the coasters exactly in finish. They sit by the coffee maker and get used constantly. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

Perfect little kit – not overwhelming like a full canvas. Great housewarming gift, small and thoughtful. One of the 6 coasters had a slightly off-center print. Still worth it overall.

Second time ordering this style, still happy with it. Gave a set to my neighbor as a housewarming gift and she loved them. The bloom subject is rendered with more detail than I expected. The edges could be sealed a bit better for daily use. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

Arrived well packed and ready to start. They look like a proper matched set. One coaster had a marginally off-center print. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

Got these for the kitchen table and they look so cute. Everyone who comes over picks one up to look at it. Wish the cork backing were a touch thicker. Still a solid purchase.

I ordered these for the living room and they look intentional. Everyone who comes over picks one up to look at it. The canvas had a faint mark from the printing on one edge. It’s a lovely take on a bloom design. Would still recommend it.

Such a nice little project to have on the go. The pen and wax worked fine, I didn’t need to dig out my own tools. They’re a bit smaller than I pictured for a large tumbler. Keeps my hands busy during long flights and hotel evenings. Still worth it overall.

  8. Jason Eubanks –

Came quickly and was packaged really well. Great little housewarming gift. The flower artwork is the reason I clicked. I’d have liked a slightly longer chart, but it was workable. Still a good kit overall.

I bought two sets so I could gift one and keep one. The set stacks neatly in the drawer when not in use. The multi-placer tip took some practice. It’s my go-to when I need a quiet evening. Would still recommend it.

These are my go-to when I want a small craft that still feels rewarding. The drills sit nice and flush, no gaps showing the surface underneath. I do a section after work with a cup of tea and it’s a nice way to unwind. They’re a bit smaller than I pictured for a large tumbler. They sit by the coffee maker and get used constantly. Happy with it, with a few caveats.

Bought it as a starter kit for myself and it worked out great. The floral artwork comes together beautifully as you work. They look great on the sideboard and are genuinely useful. Only small gripe is that a few drills had little burrs on them. Overall happy, just a few small things.

Got these for the kitchen table and they look so cute. Made a set for my sister and now she wants more. The holder doesn’t match the coasters exactly in finish. Happy enough that I’d buy another.

  13. Mamie Lima (verified owner) –

I wanted coasters that didn’t look like everyone else’s and these fit. The holder is sturdy enough that I actually keep them in it. If this style appeals to you, it delivers. I like that it’s creative without requiring any decisions. Guests always comment on them. I wish the box were sturdier for storage. Worth buying, just plan for those small quirks.

  14. Ricky Wang (verified owner) –

This is a genuinely nice kit for the money. Cork on the bottom stops condensation from sticking them down. Finish is even and the whole thing looks tidy once you’re done. Nice to have something that gets me off my phone for a while. Using them on the patio table and they’ve held up fine. A few bags weren’t labeled as clearly as the rest. Overall a good experience.

  15. Dave Hopper (verified owner) –

These are the perfect size to actually finish. The tweezers included were actually good quality. Shipping took a few days longer than I expected. I’ve been doing it in the evenings with my partner, we take turns on sections. We actually use them every day, not just display them. Would recommend it with those notes.

These are my go-to when I want a small craft that still feels rewarding. The cork backing keeps them from sliding and protects the table. They look like a proper matched set. It only comes in sets, so I couldn’t buy a single extra. The bloom artwork is the reason I clicked. A good buy, with one or two caveats.

I’ve been doing these for about a year and this is a solid kit. The holder fits all 6 pieces neatly, keeps them from getting lost. This is the kind of craft that’s genuinely calming after a hectic day. A couple of the darker shades were hard to tell apart in low light. Minor things, but I’d still buy it again.

  18. Phil Morris (verified owner) –

Bought this after finishing my last kit and it was a good call. The colors are true to the listing photos. The kit came complete, nothing extra needed from the craft store. The edges could be sealed a little better for daily use. I take it to my book club and work on it while we chat. We actually use them every day, not just display them. Good enough that I’d buy another.

Was looking for something to do with my hands in the evenings. The drills arrived clean, not stuck together in clumps. Some colors came with barely any extras, though I didn’t run out. I worked on this with my mother and we both got absorbed in it. I gave one to my sister and she immediately ordered her own. Good enough that I’d buy another.

These are great for a first-timer, not intimidating at all. Cork on the bottom plus the drill top makes them feel solid. The box arrived a bit dented, though nothing inside was damaged. Surprisingly calming, even for someone with a short attention span. Would recommend it with those notes.

Was looking for something to do with my hands in the evenings. They wipe clean easily, which matters with kids around. I keep them out for guests and always get asked about them. One coaster had a marginally off-center print. Would order again despite the small issues.

  22. Angelo Richardson (verified owner) –

Perfect little kit – not overwhelming like a full canvas. Extra drills were included for every color, which I appreciated. The drills are uniform and sit flat with no gaps. I worked on this with my mother and we both got absorbed in it. The set looks cohesive and well made on the shelf. Instructions were pretty minimal, though there are plenty of tutorials online. Worth it despite the small things.

I like having a small kit that doesn’t take a month. Everyone who comes over picks one up to look at it. I’d prefer slightly thicker cork on the base. Still a good kit overall.

  24. Patricia Payne (verified owner) –

I needed a screen-free hobby and this fit the bill. Good quality drills with clean edges, not chipped. The backing held up fine and didn’t peel anywhere. Nice to have a hobby that leaves you calmer than you started. The holder is a bit loose so they rattle when moved. I gave a set to a friend and she uses them constantly. Overall happy, just a few small things.

I grabbed these to have something small to work on in the evenings. The drills clicked into place without needing much pressure. I’d prefer slightly thicker cork on the base. Using them on the patio table and they’ve held up fine. Would still recommend it.
